واعتبر وهاب أن الرد المفترض هو في إكمال ما بدأناه أي إعادة الجبل لثوابته وإخراجه من كل هذه الدوامة التي وضع فيها.

-We will continue what we started on May 7 [the Mount Lebanon reconciliation].

-You [Sheikh Aridi] used to alert me of two things: Not to risk relations with Syria, and to preserve relations with Hezbollah. I announce you martyr of the Resistance and Mount Lebanon’s unity.

-We will preserve our relations with [Hezbollah Secretary General] Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and with PSP Leader MP Walid Jumblatt, and we will avoid any violence in Mount Lebanon.

-I heard PSP Leader MP Walid Jumblatt’s declaration to the media. His words were the best expression of the delicacy of this period.

-We admit that there are political disputes in Lebanon, but should they lead to civil war? I tell you that your assassination was to trigger conflict, but we will not fall into the trap.

There's no point in pointing the finger, because, "as usual", there will be no outcome.

These assassinations are well planned and calculated killing, specifically intended to destabilize Lebanon, and maintain a front for the Arab-Israeli conflict.

The closer Lebanon gets to unifying its factions, and infact creating a stable government, the more we can expect to see these kind of murders that clearly intend to prevent unity.

I thought he didn't say anything at all, i guess i was wrong. Venom posted his statement some posts back.
Right after the assassination, i was imagining the Hariri media team lusting over a full blown incrimination of Wahhab, but i guess the unified position of Jumblat, Erslan and Wahhab barraged the usual conspiracy circus. It seems the only one who is still working on the old outdated version is Zoughbi.
