Syria never really left. Its allies and implants remained. FPM joined their ranks long ago with its alliances, and supported indirectly the Syrian/Iranian political policies in Lebanon and the region. Further Syria still directly controls armed Palestinian factions outside the camps, and indirectly has the support of Hezbollah's formidable arms.

Pity a nation under duress and de facto military rule...

Pity the Nation elected Hariri who re-Elected Berri who has pro-Syrian militia, Then He Assures HA that thier arms will not be approached, then he plans a visit to Syria.

So your puppets won but you lost anyway!
Supported by the US, Israel, Saudi Arabia, the world media, the IMF, the World Bank and all the simple minded and corrupt, yet you’re still a loser.
What would it take for you to win?

Indeed sovereignty lost in Lebanon long ago, and FPM left it behind long ago as well... FPM/HA alliance never was a viable option in these elections do not try to pretend it was.

at least give FPM some credit in this one. they had the same choice 2 yrs ago which your allies (supposedly smart) recently had... call this a strategic outlook!

what was SG's last strategic outlook? or did he have any since 1985?

We are indeed in a new era where everyone again is licking the boots of the de facto occupiers and their regional sponsor. This time around you started first!! so yes kudos for you!

I thought you were counting on your dynasties the LF to protect your freedom and pride.
What about the FM, not enough financial resources?
Anyway, are you getting ready to receive Syria with wide arms? Jumblatt can teach you how…
