No to Saad visiting Syria. If he does he is a traitor.

The only acceptable visit is in a neutral host country (neither Lebanon nor Syria), after Saad is prime minister and the new government agrees to a list of demands/issues to be negotiated with Syria and nominate him to lead this effort.

Naharnet:

Report: Nasrallah Visited Damascus

Hizbullah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah has visited Damascus to be informed about latest Saudi-Syrian contacts on the situation in Lebanon, al-Liwaa newspaper reported Saturday.
The daily quoted a source as saying that Nasrallah traveled to Syria although Hizbullah sources wouldn't reveal such a trip. The Hizbullah chief has been in hideout since the July 2006 war with Israel.

Media reports said that Speaker Nabih Berri, and a Hizbullah delegation, which visited Damascus lately, were also informed about latest results reached in discussions between Saudi Arabia and Syria.

Pan-Arab daily al-Hayat confirmed through well-informed sources that the Syrian leadership is keeping the opposition informed about its contacts with Riyadh.

The newspaper said there are two trends in the opposition: One is showing readiness to facilitate results of the Syrian-Saudi contacts by not insisting on some cabinet formation demands, while the other continues to insist on the demands, which might delay the distribution of government seats.

I feel sorry for Lebanon.

I feel sorry for GMA.

History repeats itself and nobody cares.

GMA expelled from Lebanon by proSyrians for being anti-Syrian .

GMA denied power/in a way expelled from power; accused of being proSyrian;done by newly found antiSyrians.

GMA to be expelled out of power again by new proSyrians who are not antiSyrians anymore.

What is it that GMA is always on the other side of power?
is it his plan to investigate the money trail?

the corruption?

the mafia?

is it his call to end the interference of all foreigners in Lebanese affairs?

is it all of the above?

it seems he offers his opponents good ways to attack him on every turn he takes.

How can he be attacked so much and be called pro-this and pro that while others are given medal of honors for doing or saying the same things?

There is something missing there.

How can GMA loose the majority in Parliament in a fierce election in which they used his relations to HA and its weapons against him and then in less than 24 hours after the election, while the ink didn't dry up yet, the BIG guy who defeated GMA tells HA they can write whatever they want in Bayan Wizari and that the weapons are out of discussion?

How can GMA loose the majority in Parliament accused of being proSyrian and the Big guy who won is going to have the Syrian blessings for his government?

Something is missing.

GMA needs better strategy and better advisors ;or perhaps he needs to listen to them.

I call again for the creation of the Office for Advanced Political Research and Studies/Strategies in FPM.

regards

list of demands? u think Lebanon is in a position to demand anything?
we need Syria, Syria doesnt need us. In my opinion Saad Hariri couldnt lead an effort to brush his teeth let alone lead a country.
