ذكرت صحيفة "السفير" أن مساعد وزيرة الخارجية الاميركية لشؤون الشرق الاوسط جيفري فيلتمان، ومن موقعه الحالي، استخدم نفوذه اللبناني في الساعات الأخيرة، لمنع زيارة رئيس الحكومة المكلف سعد الحريري إلى دمشق قبل تأليف الحكومة، ولم تهدأ اتصالاته بعدد من القيادات في الأكثرية المسيحية، لا بل شملت أحد أعضاء "اللقاء الديمقراطي"، في محاولة لخلق "بلوك سياسي" اعتراضي يصعب مهمة الحريري، خاصة أن اقتراح الزيارة لم يأت من دمشق بل أتى من الجانب السعودي

However such meeting shouldnt be in Damascus, it should take place in Cairo or Riyad with the presence of President Sulieman, and of course King Abdullah and Mubarak.

We desperately need a unified Arabic vision for the area, especially after the US withdrawal from Iraq and what's happening in Palestine.

Cheikh Saad just denied that the gov is being formed outside Lebanon. His argument was so pertinent: "the decree is issued from Baabda, therefore the gov is formed in Lebanon. Anything else is a lie!"

When will we start behaving a little more maturely? Can't we wait and see if he will go? why not FPM/GA just making a normal political statement denouncing any visit outside Lebanon in the process of forming the government, and request that Hariri stays in Lebanon and not visit either Saudia or Syria... why we always behave immaturely and... prematurely? what if he ends up not going before forming the government? won't that statement above become redundant and ridiculous?

GMA already denounced the Foreign interventions in forming the new government. He clearly stated that KSA,Syria,France and USA are forming Lebanon's government.

And didn't we need this unified vision 4 years ago? Didn't we need during the 2006 Israeli war against Lebanon? Didn't we need it during Gaza war?

أسف نائب رئيس الهيئة التنفيذية في "القوات اللبنانية" جورج عدوان لكون حكومة لبنان تؤلف في الخارج واصفاً ذلك بالأمر المعيب معتبراً أنه يمس كرامة المواطن اللبناني.
النائب عدوان، وفي حديث إلى تلفزيون "المنار"، لفت إلى أنّ كون الحكومة اللبنانية تؤلف في الخارج ليس مدعاة فخر "فلا أحد يمكنه أن يفتخر بكون تأليف حكومته ينتظر توافق هذه الدولة مع تلك" مشيراً إلى أنّ رفض فريقه للوصاية السورية لا يعني قبولها بوساطة أخرى سواء أكانت سعودية أو سورية أو فرنسية أو أميركية أو إيرانية.
ورأى عدوان أنّ المعنى السياسي لزيارة رئيس الحكومة المكلف سعد الحريري إلى دمشق الآن هو أنه يزورها في إطار تشكيل الحكومة محذراً من أنّ لهذا الأمر تداعيات سلبية مشدداً على أنه ينعكس سلباً بكل تأكيد على العلاقات اللبنانية السورية.
وجدّد عدوان رفض "القوات اللبنانية" لأي علاقة بين الأحزاب في لبنان وسوريا.

نقل تلفزيون "أخبار المستقبل" عنم مصادر مطلعة أن بعض التحركات العربية يهدف لجمع الشمل العربي فيما البعض الآخر يتحرك باتجاهات يريدها الغرب مثل الدعوة لإقامة سلام مع إسرائيل.
وأكدت المصادر أن ما يُروج حول علاقة سوريا ومطالبها لتشكيل الحكومة اللبنانية ليس سوى قنابل دخانية لإخفاء ما يجري ترتيبه تحت الطاولة.

يعود سعد الدين الحريري الى دمشق. لكنه يعود مكابراً. فهو لن يسلك طريق الشام. ولن يعرج طبعاً على عنجر. فالسيناريو المطروح، يقضي بأن يصل الملك السعودي الى العاصمة السورية يوم الاثنين المقبل. في اليوم التالي، تصل طائرة سعودية خاصة الى مطار بيروت، لتقل الحريري ومعاونيه وأركان فريقه الى الشام، للقاء طويل العمر. وللمناسبة يصير لقاء المصالحة، تطوى صفحات. بعدها، يعود الرئيس المكلف الى بيروت، فتعلن حكومتنا العتيدة، من قلب عاصمتنا اللبنانية، رمز سيادتنا الناجزة، واستقلالنا المطلق، وعنفواننا الفارغ، مثل كثير من الرؤوس والعقول...

هل بات السيناريو المذكور في حكم المنجز؟ نقطة واحدة لا تزال موضع نقاش ثانوي: هل تحصل الزيارة، قبل إعلان الحكومة، أم بعدها؟ وعباقرة البروباغاندا الأكثرية، يفضلون بعد، كي يقال أن الحريري اشترط تسهيل التأليف كي يقوم بالزيارة، ولا يقال أن دمشق اشترطت الزيارة، كي يصير التأليف ممكناً. مجرد تفصيل، مثل مواقع المنظرين له، في بلاط قريطم.

Saad Hariri will go to Syria even before forming the government...He is patriotic, he is clean and he is defending Lebanon's interests.

Walid jumblat can go to syria/iran/defend hizbollah, whenver he wants, he is clean, patriotic and defending Lebanon...

But Michel Aoun is soureh/iraneh and he is selling the christians for the sake of the presidency...

What a country, hopeless...

I hope that FPM media outlets make the biggest attack on saad hariri visiting syria, and accuse him of becoming a syrian puppet...

we should say to hariri like they said to Aoun " hariri***** soure ! "
