Default Reminder of what hariri has accomplished! - 21st March 2009

During elections, all candidates, parties, currents,etc... claim to be working for Lebanon, its people, progress and development...

and each candidate, party, current will release something called "a platform", " a plan", "ambitions", "goals".... and on many occasions, they may include ideas which can never be accomplished or would call for issues they are practically fighting... these would actually look good on any electoral plan.

some people would call call revealing the defects in your opponent as negative propaganda, but i think it is just part of electoral campaigns.

for the last 17 years and especially in the last 4 years, the Hariri team has committed a lot of mistakes.. they have taken actions which were highly controversial, they have said things which were unacceptable and now they rely on the naivety of the population to forget these actions and statements.

i think it is our job to remind people of their scandals, of their inconsistencies, of their lies....

reference to newspapers, links, videos, podcasts, newscasts is highly encouraged since it would provide more credibility to our post..

i will start with couple of them:
-Hariri allied with HA in 2005 while they were armed and that was acceptable. Right now, Hariri considers HA weapons to be the biggest problem facing Lebanon and is building all his campaign on the idea of fear of these weapons... knowing that all parties are armed in Lebanon and actions of May 7th showed that Hariri, Jounblatt and HA used the same weapons...

-Hariri cancelling Holy Friday as a national holiday under the pretext of productivity and harming the economy, but Feb 14th remains a day off.

-Hariri insisted on signing the Islamic Nations proposal of Children Education in Islam, refusing to respect the opinion of different lebanese communities.

i will leave other ideas for later to keep the thread alive..

Howbout;

- Introducing, financing, and encouraging muslim extremist militias in Lebanon.
- Continuing the corruption legacy that his father and his team excelled at.
- Causing tension and hate between different Lebanese groups.
- Using religion to ignite hate between the Lebanese people.
- Trying to segregate the Lebanese by saying Beirut is for them and not the rest of the Lebanese.
- Trying to undermine our democracy by trying to buy votes.
- Creating a branch of a Lebanese internal security and making it his own spy team.

1- the most extremists I see in Lebanon are HA. and hariri is far from financing them ...
2- probably right , probably wrong ... I duno.
3- Claiming inexistent rights all day long for elections purposes , like your General is doing , and considering any muslim attached to his religion as takfiri , ya3ni each one bitawel da2no sar takfiri , each one meltezem diniyan sar takfiri ... eh 5ali l General yrou2 3a Sabre.
4- see 3.
5- Beirut is for Beirutis. there .. happy? I said it too. if a part of muslims started to go live in predominant christian areas and started to control the area and making problems in it , I bet I will see you ( FPM ) crying on TV each day.
6- both loyalists and opposition are buying votes ... with money , with religion ... taklif shar3i is kind of buying votes , speaking secterianly is kind of buying votes , and you excell at these 2. also buying votes with money is being used.
7- that's your opinion.

2- government as in 14 feb! And to correct u, Bishop Ra3i heavily attacked the decree.
3- This is neither a muslim country nor a christian one. Leave Islam in ur home and mosques and do not make it enter schools. And u still u dare accuse HA of wanting an islamic republic.
As well, every lebanese has a right to state his opinion in lebanese affairs. So leave the "ma dakhlkoun" comments to your family and friends.

2- and another bishops were ok.
3- this is both muslim and christian country. and when something affects us as muslims only , its not your business to oppose it if we are ok with it.
