The head of the Progressive Socialist Party (PSP), MP Walid Jumblatt, visited Grand Ayatollah Mohammad Hussein Fadlallah at his residence in Haret Hreik in Dahyeh and discussed with him the situation in Lebanon and the region in general.
Jumblatt criticised march 14 slogans and invited his former allies to reconsider their political views. "We can't remain prisoners of slogans like freedom, sovereignty, and independence," Jumblatt said, recalling that Israel is Lebanon's enemy whereas Syria is a friend.
The Democratic Gathering leader warned of a malicious schemes, especially those aiming to create a sectarian crisis, that are being plotted against Lebanon, calling for Islamic and national unity to discard them.
