I'm not an FPMer. And I said a 'few' FPMers, Army men, and civilians refering to the good individuals who have grown out of their tribal instincts and grew into a more cohesive identity called the national identity - and that would make anyone think highly of himself.
Its not really difficult, there is the 'survivor instinct' that without a state to protect you on one side and no judiciary to bring you justice and then parties that build their doctrines around hate speeches (add to them the great civilized media we have, just thinking of sahar el khateeb's 'famous speech' brings chills to my spine, in a normal society she should be persecuted for inciting hatred OR Manar's clip on the Aley MP can't remember his name, or NBN's '3ibriyah' vs. '3arabiyah' clip)...
...with all that you'd get a nice social mix to create militiamen...just watch the media blitz on 3ayn el Rimmeneh and what a great 'proof' it is that we need to be armed to 'protect' ourselves from others.
What Sami Gemayel says on TV is a very much light (though i believe already condemnable) version of what is said on the street amongst extremists on both sides.
Then ask your FPMer friends (since you made a tally of whom from these people are FPM and who are belonging to other parties, which party doesn't exist on your nice little list) that are posing with guns what makes them enjoy those pics? Maybe its a new way to get cute girls or something?
