1- As mentioned by Ahiram, by stating his comment about the مثالثة he is confirming that it is on the table!! He shouldn't have mentioned it at all, since the parties accused of raising it have denied they ever thought about it even! FIRST HOLE!

2 - He stated that the opposition will have a stronger power than the ruling party. How is this possible when he himself stated last week that the winning party should form the government and the losing party should just oppose. How does it help to oppose when the courts are politicized, the ruling party has 100% of government?? SECOND HOLE

3- He is "confirming" that the results will be with a difference of 1-2 seats. HOW THE HELL DO YOU KNOW??? Even polling firms haven't completed their statisitcs! The President should be a neutral position who does not make predictions that might influence the elections. What if the results end up being with a difference of 15 seats, wouldn't you look stupid mister president? HOLE no. THREE

4- Then he goes on stating that he doesn't need a paliamentary bloc cause he already got to the presidency. WEEELLLLL... one: the parliament is not there JUST to elect presidents, and two: you have NO powers whatsoever. So it is human nature to look for sources of authority somewhere. Unfortunately we don't have a president who came as a result of power/strong representation (he was selected and not elected), so it is NORMAL for him to try to have a voice in parliament (and maybe a few ministers... hint: 10/10/10, hint: after the elections Doha is no longer valid according to him). So being president does not rule out your intentions to have a bloc ..... HOLE FOUR

5- YOU ARE CALLING WINNING MP'S NOT TO REMAIN IN BLIND LINE-UPS???? Do you mean that currrently MPs are BLINDLY lining up with the two main powers? isn't that insulting Mr. President? Who are you to call MPs to line up or not! Are you trying to influence the shape of the parliament? or do we go back to your fourth hole and you are REALLY now pushing for a pro-president bloc?!?

You caused yourself more headaches Mr. President. You're definitely not doing yourself any favour. I thought GA was pretty harsh on Monday... now i understand why he was...
FPM elected this President unconstitutionally. Live with the consequences of your decisions.

I see it’s been merged with yours now. I hope it survives this time because I strongly believe GMS has been a big disappointment to most of us.

The presidency, just like any public office must not be a reward but a service and possibly a sacrifice. GMS has not been capable of saying NO to foreign interference and YES to uniting the whole country.

He has done a dismal job so far. One example that comes to mind is the fact that he contributed into misleading and diverting the investigation of Hariri’s assassination by not exercising his authority and duty freeing the 4 Generals immediately after he took office. All of us want to know who really killed Hariri. The General’s detention is obviously a part of the plot to divert the attention from the real killers.

As far as the US political transformation in the Middle East; it is obvious the new administration started following Tom Friedman’s advice which is to separate Iran from Syria by taking Syria’s side and boosting its influence over Lebanon, especially over the opposition and HA. That is a replay from recent history where GMA stood alone in his opposition against Syria’s dominance over Lebanon as part of the same old agenda.

The new US agenda is still to weaken Iran even if it meant making a deal with Syria.
So far GMS proved incapable to act as GMA would and that’s dangerous to all of us. We don’t want the regional conflicts settled on our playground- once again because of our weak leadership.

Knowing his own weakness, GMS will be acting patriotically by resigning and allowing a more capable leader fit in those big shoes… It’s a new opportunity for Lebanon to rise. Let’s not miss it

YOUR? i'm not even a member in the FPM party, and i don't necessarily agreeing with the decision to elect him!?
As for the unconstitutionality of the election, you have to understand that the constitution is not cast in stone and can be amended if the circumstances dictate that (and i am speaking generally, i am not necessarily justifying specifically this amendment to allow the election of Sleiman - i know you are going to jump on that). Our constitution is so messed up, that it led to a deadlock in Parliament without anyone being able to make a decision, the whole country was CONSTITUTIONALLY paralyzed! without anyone breaking the consitution!
So NO ONE HAS TO LIVE with the consequences of electing Sleiman. Even if we LOVED him before (assuming!), i have the right to criticize him now.
