joseph-lubnan I challenge you to say your real name, you are defending a criminal like Tarek Mitri? | Quote:

Its not whether I care about JG or dont. She has presented publicly allegations, accusations, and petition to jail people without providing adequate background and basis. It is only fair to question. |
Even though I highly despise Tarek Mitri, the absence of a contract and the fact that you were being lured into working without getting paid do not qualify to accuse Joseph Lubnan or anyone else of defamation.
Walaw? Your work was the work of a qualified person. You should know the basics of signing a contract before working or else you should've stopped from the beginning and moved to something else. Especially with all the corruption you described and the horrendous working environment you were in.
This story is too much of a mascarade and this regardless of Tarek Mitri's despicable person. If you know that someone is a crook you don't get fooled by him and ask for revenge afterward. People lose their jobs everyday. Senior people are getting fired everyday with no particular motives. I am not gonna say that it was right for you to get fooled by corrupt people, you want us to sign the petition, ok, I'll do it out of pity but not out of righteousness. Please try to contain your reaction and realize that it was mostly your mistake. It's hard to admit one's fault and it's easy to blame others.

Small background, Joumana Gebara has volunteered to work as a part time intern in the ministry of information before even the budget that allowed the ministry to hire new people was voted. Joumana along with over 10 others knew this was the case and accepted these conditions giving only a few hours a week of their time to the minsitry positionning themselves for a potential position in the future.
After a while Joumana decided the deal was unfair and asked for being paid which of course was not possible as their was no budget for it and Joumana wasn't the only one in that situation. As a consequence Joumana has quit her job and a few days later showed on up on Ghada Eid show diffamating the Ministry of information...
Many among Joumana entourage critisized Ms Gebara behavior, among them , a back then good friend of her, Baria Ahmar, a CNN correspondant in Lebanon with no link whatsoever to the ministry of information. The 2 friends had an argument about that subject and most probably about various other issues. Some time after Baria Ahmar notices that an e-mail has been sent from her personnal e-mail to all her contact list, pretending to be written by Baria and divulgating personnal issues, mainly lies...
Baria Ahmar got worried and complained to the police that someone had hacked her e-mails in order to diffamate her and has listed a few names of people who could have been behind it, one of them being Joumana. The police then spotted the IP address and found from where that e.mail had been sent, it was from a computer that was often used by Joumana. Ms Gebara then got arrested and didn't deny the accusations, she spent a few days in detention and then got released whithout the case being closed yet.
Basically Joumana story has NOTHING to do nor with the ministry of information nor with liberty of expression...but apparently Ms Gebara want us to believe she was a political prisonner rather than a simple harmful hacker...
Would love to see that post staying and would enjoy having Joumana answering back, let's hope... | Anxious to see if Joumana will be able to uncover your identity, cause it seems you know eachother well. | | | | | Registered Member

Would love to see that post staying and would enjoy having Joumana answering back, let's hope... | Why didn’t you write with your real name? Using an aka to spread further lies and rumors does not bring you credibility.
I write with my name, everyone knows me, knows my phone number and where I live. If I committed any kind of crime I would be in prison. I did not lie neither about how the procedure was in the ministry of lies: Laure Sleiman admitted on TV and in public that they owe me money, Toufic Yannieh admitted it on TV and now your arguments fell again in the category lies and rumors. I have the recorded episode with Laure Sleiman on NTV when she appeared with me on June 12th 2009. Laure said in public they will pay me and I am eligible of my salary. Why did they pay everyone else except of me?Spreading lies and rumors and under a fake name does not make you more credible and people who lie once lie always!
Confront me you coward, and all the people behind you!!! You created all sort of stories about me because I am clean and am not backed by anyone.
I will fight you and fight all corrupt people and liars in this country till the last breath, even if all people stand against me, I care less, I will not become one of you!!
You want all Lebanese to become liars, corrupt, thieves like you, I will not join you!! Beware, you can try to jail me, but you will never be able to jail the truth.
I am not afraid of anyone, la men Tarek Mitri wala Laure Sleiman wala menak wala men ghayrak!
Try to defaime me, try to falsify the truth but you will never succeed I will fight till my last breath!!!!! Even if you kill me and mute me, there will still be people there to say the truth!! | | | | | Orange Room Supporter

It sounds like everyone wants FPM’s approval. They have become the measure for ‘Good’ versus all the other evil that is around. | | | | | Registered Member

It needs a lot of online outbursts (in the right place, in the right time) for someone to make quite public fuss and then probably use it to advance in their personal career.
I pity the writer. It certainly sucks and feel unfair on her side. but what she is doing is using the people (because they might have anti-government issues/human rights? whatever) and make herself a public image.
People, please pause and realize when you are being used. I mean its okay to help others, but on logical, non-"emo" basis | | | | | Registered Member

So we can conclude that:
If a citizen falls into the trap of unjustice, he has to get his own justice by other means because he cannot rely on the correct procedure through petition or publicly raising awareness on CORRUPT MINISTERS and their staff.
This said, I thank all who supported the case, because this could happen to anyone. I am neither a poor citizen, nor someone who cannot defend himself, but this was a great experiment and experience to show you your ownselves.
The good ones are obvious and the filthy volk is obvious, unfortunately the filthy is the majority. Hopefully General Aoun will begin cleaning in his own party before cleaning outside, this time.
Thanks again to all individuals who supported the case because they want to fight corruption.
Those who tried to defame me I tell them; thank you for trying because now I know where you can attack me and I am well-prepared. | | | | | | |
