and by insulting SHN i think the speech he gave is considered an insult in Lebanon, he doesnt have to say bad words to be an insult (when he said endagering the kayan) i also consider that if saying that we as christians that are with GMA are endagering the kayen is an insult
i would love to see a pios batrak that considers ONLY our spiritual side not go into politics (and it is not by mistake that the Vatican lost its power that they had during medeival times)

We are not insulting or cursing him, but el abyad abyad wel asswad asswad !! This Batrak himself is a curse for the Christians of Lebanon. During hard times (like Syrian occupation and TAEF for example) he sold them with pride and gratitude and during good times (after the Chritsians had a clear majority in 2005 for example) he looked for an opponent to fight them. His continuous obedience to the Hariris since 1990 is a disaster, and it seems now that he is being excited to ignite a Christian-Shiite rift (but we'll defeat his plan like we defeated him bi noss din Keserwen).

Too bad none of the bishops or those surrounding this Batrak has the courage to rescue the Maronite Church now because this Batrak will be boycotted by the Christian opposition until the day he leaves Bkerkeh for good (hopefully soon).

my biggest concern is that he will be replaced by someone just like him, if not worse, and oversee the demise of the Christians in Lebanon.

DA, the people in line are no better.
FPM better learn how to cope and neutralize the effect of the Batrak. Until we do that, the issue will still hurt us.

work on the people instead. In countries like lebanon, where religious figures have considerable power and sectarianism is instaured, you will hardly find positive support from religious leaders. They are more prone for the statu quo that asserts their control and power over the citizens.
Those calling for change & reforms will be perceived as a threat...

a female fried of my mom who resides in Jouinieh area, was telling her
that many people are so disgusted with this rasputin ( i like the name hehehehe) that many are boycotting the church all together.

the batrak helped us indirectly, especially after the GENOCIDE IN ZAHLE .

just look around you and see how the 14shbatt christians, mazlouleen in their community.
instead of US feeling down and depressed.
