Default Patriarch Sfeir Role in Weakening the Christians - 10th June 2009

How about we start a campaign with the Pope to remove Patriarch Sfeir from his post...?

We can document and send to the Pope how he split the Christians since he took over...We have tons of evidence?

This can not be driven by FPM but by individuals like us...it has to be a grass root campaign...

Yes?

Any ideas on enumerating all his evil doings? We can start with 1989, to october 1990, all the way to today...At every step, he choose the path of splitting us...

Ideas?

The very next day, you will have Sheikh Amine, Doktor Hayda Shou Esmo, Mama M3awwad and al-tofl al-mu3jiza, Botros, Solange, and the rest of the gang visiting the batrak to declare their solidarity with him against this vicious Aounist attack. They will declare Sfeir "khatt a7mar."

I think the Pope will do it on his own without our help : the Maronite Chuch is already divided... The bishops in their last meeting tried to be balanced and the patriarch with his speech on saterday went against the majority of his bishops.

Guys, no need to campaign against a religious leader, it backfires.
Many citizens are followers of clergymen.

some of you guys give Patriarch Sfeir tooooooooo much credit. The more he is in the lime light, the better he is. Ignore him. Whatever.

FPM needs to reconciliate with the patriarch regardless of how we view him.
i dont understand what's so hard in giving an old man some lip service while doing what we want to do.

It depends on what patriarch your talking about
the maronite church is governed by some vatican law dedicated to eastern churchs
this is where the info lays
