Regarding the ESSM EL SOULETHE, guys, you ONLY need to put the father's name when 2 candidates have the same first and last name.
There is only ONE Ibrahim Kanaan, one Michel Aoun, one Gilberte Zouein, and thus if you put Gilberte Zouein only, there can be no confusion as to which candidate is the vote.
The esseme l thoulesse is usually needed only in such cases as Gebran Gergi Bassil where there is another Gebran Bassil running, and thus if one puts Gebran Bassil only, the vote will not be counted because it doesn't say to which candidate the vote goes.
You can write the lists with your hand, they can be handwritten, printed [] for all one cares. I have been a mandoub for so many times and you can;t imagine the things we see in the ballots.
You just need to abide by the basic rules:
- not include more names than allowed (meaning if you need to vote for one maronite and you put 2, the second you wrote will be scratched)
- the handwriting or typing should be understandable (no place for confusion)
- no use of titles whatsoever, no doctor, no cheikh, no 3imad, no general, no mouhandess no nothing. Just the name. | | | | | Orange Room Supporter

specially to Beirut! | This is something I personally am worried about. In normal days, traffic is hell. Around Christmas when some expats are here, we live hell.
Therefore, I advise everyone who live far from their voting district to try to go to the district on saturday if possible. People who live in Beirut or Metn and vote in Zghorta should go one day before if possible, same goes for the ones who live in Beirut and vote in Zahle, chouf.... this of course if they have somewhere to stay. | | | | | The Following User Says Thank You to Youchka For This Useful Post: | | | Registered Member

What do they mean? What do the numbers represent? Can't be the raqm el sejel, coz those don't go up to 1000 and more. So how do you know where?
PS: what's up with the separation between men and women? | | | | | Orange Room Supporter

Of course those are rakm sejel and they can go higher than 1000. Women and men do not vote in the same place, there is a room for men and another for women, meaning I vote in one room and my husband in another, usually in the same building. | | | | | | |
