Since this subject has been brought up numerous times by loyalist partisans (regardless if any of their observations are true or not), I find it quite enjoyable to find them now quoting and supporting staunch pro-syrian figures in their dismay of GMA.
And still they have the audacity to claim the man is pro-syrian and takes orders from Bachar himself! So it's either GMA is Bachar's lacky and Wahhab/Berri are not or GMA is his own man and takes orders from no one!

he just makes a-holes lose it ;) | Correct! GMA is a subject for GMA haters that's it... check what was written on him from 2005 to 2009 and you will find the proof.
The schizophrenic attitude of journalists, bloggers, politicians and religious characters is appalling. They made him an antihero but in the end he is the one still standing with his long term visions for the country while all the others are crumbling with their hypocrisy. | | | | | Registered Member

1) As reported earlier, Suleiman Frangieh — the leader of the Marada party, and a member of the Change & Reform Bloc — expressed his annoyance with the fact that Aoun has kept changing his demands vis-à-vis which portfolios would be granted to C&R.
Originally, this story was only reported in the pro-March 14 media, but Aoun himself made a scornful comment about Frangieh in his press conference yesterday, so I think that rumors of a rift between the two men are probably accurate.
2) Staunchly pro-Syrian former minister Wi’am Wahhab was on TV yesterday, expressly calling for Aoun to quit messing the Lebanese people around and take the deal that Hariri was offering, namely that Aoun’s son-in-law Gebran Bassil would become Minister of Energy rather than Telecommunications. Usually, when Wi’am Wahhab speaks, you can assume the message is coming from Damascus.
...
3) Finally, Nabih Berri is threatening to launch a one-man sit-in at the Parliament if the cabinet crisis is not resolved soon.
To sum up, then: Suleiman Bek, Wi’am Wahhab, and Nabih Berri are all getting fed up of the stalemate, and two of them have directed their ire at their own ally, Michel Aoun.
What do FPMers think of this?
Cheers,
QN | 1&2- I doubt these are Frangieh and Wiam Wahhab positions. If true this proves once more that FPM and General Michel Aoun are not syrian puppets.
3- I read Nabih Berri stand in Akhbar, he was threatening Harriri, but anyways everybody knows that GMA dont succomb to threats, we all remember 1989-1990.
We will get our rights whatever the price..

Can someone post what Sleiman Frangieh said ? (other than Al-hayat propaganda report from their "sources").
As for Wi2am Wahhab, I heard him saying that It's ok if Jebran Bassil took the ministry of energy, he can do the same work there as he did in telecom.
But i didn't hear him saying the other part that you mentioned, about asking GMA to "quit messing with the lebanese people".
So please dude, just post us what you have about these subjects, and maybe someone else can confirm or unconfirm what you have said, otherwise you'll be just bullshitting us, as i think now. | | | | | Orange Room Supporter

mods and readers please note that the videos referenced indeed were misdescribed by the original thread poster just like lebanesegirl observed
the vids show nothing of his claim apart from his attempt to misrepresent facts and use words that evoke a backlash between allies
so whether true or fault, or whether u agree with this assessment or not, everybody plz note that his reference vids were bs and that clearly doesnt reflect a pristine good will by the thread opener
it's like claiming he has a vid of britney spears calling christina aguillera a B* and when u watch the vid u see britney spears just talking about aguillera's album cd cover
so if it looks like bs and smells like bs then it is bs no need to call it freedom to share 'facts' | | | | | The Following User Says Thank You to Red Phoenix For This Useful Post: | | | | |
