I see very slight difference (Allah men fo2 yer2af fina w ytawwil bi 3omro lal General la2anno men douno ma ken fi hal difference) between FPM today and the Lebanese Forces that we used to laugh at a few years ago.

That bad culture hijacked FPM because it almost invaded all the ranks. We reached a level where our resistance should shift to different levels and philosophies because the situation is unbarable anymore.

Ask me about anything in FPM and I will keep writing you hundreds of bad stories we encounter every day since years w 3am men 3odd 3al jere7 w n2atil w n2ewim...

Now that you know this attitude exists, why do you care about the names since I am promising they will be accordingly humiliated?
I care about the names because I want everyone to know them 3a 7a2i2eton! But I trust what ur saying and they should be humiliated!

CB,

Is the purpose of the thread to make us aware of such trend within FPM or to find a solution?

For the solution, i think the quickest thing that comes to mind is to hold internal general elections, no?

No! The solution is cultural reforms and eradication of all bad and wrong attitudes. This is a hard and long process and requires advanced visions and devoted visionaries (and those are many out there, they just need their space to perform and shine in the world).

Internal elections are meaningless with such a low-level culture governing all-over. Forget about it...

Implementing such solution requires appointing / or / electing the most suitable person that fits such criteria at the right position within FPM.

Incorporating the ''right'' culture and attitude within FPM'ers is a long and gradual process which must be carefully driven with responsible people in charge whose agenda/reputation/caliber/motivation/drive/personality, etc. are not tarnished by corrupt mentalities or controversial practices.

This isn't something new. Some people chose to overlook for the 'greater' good as one must pick his battles in his attempt to fight and eradicate corruption. However, when someone keeps watering down his expectations, he reaches a point of no return in cynicism. If I mostly agree on FPM's strategies in the last years, I seriously question their tactics which showed failures many times. FPM must capitulate on some things more than others to maintain its credibility vis-a-vis its electorate. We're not talking about ministers' portfolios, presidents' powers, Christian rights but rather about principles like justice, governance and civil society. I guessed that was the price to pay when you are victim of your own success that brought the lack of screening in FPM registered members and turned this movement to hodge-podge. It's still not too late to tip back the balance.

Well if you wanna go to the root of the problem here are some questions that need answering:

- These FPM officials how did they get to their positions ?
- Who appointed them ?
- Who recommended them ?
- What was the system that was followed to appoint them ?
- How many people inside the FPM have the privilege to get others to these positions ?
- How can you get rid of them ?
