Nominating women for the sake of nominating them wouldn't be fruitful. The problem right now is that known women figures do not want to get involved publicly. FPM proposed many times and they declined. I could assure you any decent candidate who wants to be nominated could make her way through as there is this lack. Of course, this person has to have a minimum of education, charisma, etc. So my advice, just keep pushing.

By the way, most FPM voters are women. They outweigh the male voters. I'll dig the exact statistic for you. I had it before.

Why?

P.S. MP Gilbert Zouwein is not FPM.
Either it's because no woman is capable or willing to hold this kind of post or it's becuz we live in a backward patriarcal society.

Yes we heard him say that today but we shouldn't we searching for them, they should be imposing themselves on us like in other parties (exple Vera Yammine Marada Party). If u parashute them and they are not made to handle such a position the outcome would be far more negative on the future of women in politics than if we don't have any.

I would like to become one FPM female leader and put my candidacy but first I only have a bachelor, I am only 25 so not much experience in politics and I am not rich (i thaught you need at least 1 million dollar to make some propaghanda for your candidacy). And I am sure many girls in this site are in the same position that I am in. So how can you represent yourself with all these points when men have so much more chance to present themselves and win.

The positive point could be: I am young, have fresh ideas, could represent the youth ministry or whatever. Hate all the corruption and not intrested to be rich. And I still dont have kids so that can help me have time for work and only work. But that is all I can offer for now. And again, the rest of the girls feel the same, even if we do like to see change, the older generation of women are running to have time with all the responsabilities they have in life, who do you really think will go and apply if they dont even have the time to work so much in life.

What was ur expectations Zouxi??
What was she supposed to do to satisfy you guys??
Does she need to go in public and shout like Ghinwa Jaloul for example??
As far as I know she's very active as an MP and she took very good care of the responsibilities handed to her.
I guess Zouxi's comment is an example of how FPMers think about the FPM females .
