Hello Boiler,

Elias has just replied to you. When Elias says ally of the ally, then he implicitely says that FPM and Amal have nothing in common.

So please forward your question of common goal to FPMers who want the votes of Amal and are shy of stating that they are allied to Amal.

FPM and Amal, like HA and all members of the opposition, have in common the strategic line of the national opposition. Which is quiet a lot actually.

Within this line, and in a marginal way, there can be small issues between this or that party. Which is very normal, and even sometimes healthy.

But should a problem occur, and no matter how issues end up being resolved, only three things matter:

1-The fair and civilized process in the resolution of a conflict.
2-The safeguard of the interests that serve the common goals.
3-The safeguard of the solidarity that unites all opposition members.

This is why the opposition will stay united, and this is also why the band called "cedar revolution" will dissolve.

i always thought FPMers are smart and i STILL do , but i cant understand what are they doing when the attack RNB , whats the point of this at this critical stage ! shouldnt we be more focused on parliamentary elections? rather than attacking ourselves?

i dnt see where is this going except to the favor of 14 march ...

and to think logically and realistically we all know that NB is going to be head of parliament for 1 single reason he has the full support of all shiites MPs and ppl and Majlis al islami al shee3e al 2a3la..

This thread was found to tell LFers and Kataeb supporters that their leaders are deceiving them, don't turn it to FPMers bashing berri thread with your friend octopus.
We are more than clear.
FPMers are voting for all opposition lists across the country, nothing more nothing less.

You didn't get exactly my message. It was turning into a "mine is bigger than yours" discussion / bashing discussion. Something useless and irrelevant.

Bottom line is, if I'm right, that we have a common objective which is to win the next elections against the loyalists. Well, step by step. Let's reach our primary objective and we'll discuss later about other issues. Personnally and despite what's going on in Jezzine for example, I won't make any comment nor criticize Nabih Berri and Haraket Amal. We'll have much time to discuss our issues later, including the speaker's election - and it doesn't mean that I'm with or against the election of Nabih Berri. Je ne mets pas la charrue avant les boeufs...

Hope my position is clear.

If the FPMers are seeking CHANGE, as they pretend, they would not re-elect Berri as a parliament speaker. He's been hanging on to this post for the past 17 years.
I can see no change if Berri remains the speaker.
