the main question is how many deputies will murr-LF-phalanges have kelloun sawa 3ala ba3doun? 6? 7? 8? no one will even bother asking them about who they will support for the parliament speaker.

let murr worry about getting elected before saying which speaker he'll be voting for. he's just trying to push GMA and Birri bases further apart by implying that he has an accord with birri or whatever.

We're all being hypocritical here.

Nabih Berri is coming back as speaker no matter what we want, we being FPM or LF or Murr or Hariri or whoever.

He'll be back because he has the support of 95 % of his community, and the support of Walid Jumblatt, his old friend from the war days. No one will dare run against him.

So until we get rid of sectarianism, we're all stuck with Berri.

By the same logic, even if we get the majority, we'll not be able to appoint a sunni PM vetoed by Hariri, and we'll have to settle for a "centrist" PM.

Emile Kanaan
Elias Mkhaiber
Sarkis Sarkis
Farid Haykal
Mansour lBon
Nazem lKhoury
Edmond Gharios

Those dudes, be it they made it to parliament, will make the 'bouta' of Aboulmich, but apparently Aboulmich's temper in the press conference today speaks nothing but a losing wimp.

Murr considers himself the leader of the Metn list whether Sami and his dad like it or acknowledge it or not. He also believes that he will have his own ketle int he parliament, formed of Nayla Tueini, Gharios, maybe Sarkis, and maybe other khrafich men hon ou men hon. So he is talking in the name of all those. Funny eh that Nayla talks about May 7 events and then her jeddo declares that she will be the first to vote for the May 7 makers. HYPOCRITES again and again.

My Friend,

Whichever side wins, Berri is the speaker of the parliament. So relax and enjoy the speaker parliament elections.

Octypus, Does the opposition has national goals to achieve from allying in these elections, or is it just a CHAIR for Berri?

FYI, If HA decides not to give a single MP for Amal, he could easily do it, so hold down your horses.

Amal is the ally of our ally. Only comment that is relevant for now is "Let's work to win the elections". We'll have much time after the elections to have many discussions about many topics...believe me.
