The main criteria to choose a minister is the competence.
If he does a good job, then he and his party will definitely gain a popular ground.
Thank you!! |
Of course criteria of competence > district of the minister.
However the problem is that Ashrafieh is surrounded with an aura that it is LF/Kataeb and so many will vote by instinct, without even knowing much in politics, for them.
However, having a minister from there who for example BROUGHT BACK ELECTRICITY or FIXED THE INTERNET AND PHONE PROBLEMS, will grant him, and his list, the power to break that aura. People will feel motivated and have a cause; ''to save the clean hardworking politician'' after all the disapointments and losing hope that Lebanon can be fixed.
Of course bringing back electricity will benifit the party everywhere, however because of the aura of Achrafieh, christian 14fbers might manage to make the district immune to change,
and we can't risk that because:
The christians can now elect 47 MPs and so the FPM has the potential to get to 47 MPs.
After losing Zahleh, christians can now elect 40 MPs and so does FPM too.
Remove Bshareh, FPM can now get max 38 MPs.
Of those 38, FPM got 26.
What is left for it to improve are: Ashrafieh(5), Koura(3), Batroun(2), Metn(2).
We need still 8 to win the majority, so investing in Achrafieh is vital!
