We dont have to repeat M14 mistakes

Not really ... in the news, I hear day and night: Aoun and Berri disagreement over Jezzine. I dont understand where!?!? Samir Azar for Berri, Ziad Aswad and the catholic MP for Aoun. Where is the disagreement?

For the remaining, there will be exchanges as follows:
One will take the Shiite in Baadba, the other will take the shiite in Jbeik
One took the shiite in West Bekaa, the other will take the shiite in Zahle
One took the Catholic in Jezzine, the other will take the catholic in Zahrani

Disagreements in Current-Opposition block like a couple arguing about the color of the seats for their wedding while in M14, it is a couple on the night of their wedding, not sure if the other is the right partner to continue his life with!

Last edited by somebody; 2nd April 2009 at 01:43 PM.. Reason: replaced M8 with Current-Opposition (more accurate terminology)

The problem is one asking for representation in a place where one's popularity is highly doubted.

I agree with You. Berri has no popularity in Baabda to ask for an MP
But if we look at the big picture: today, if C&R block went to the election alone, HA/Amal alone, SSNP/Leftisit alone ... we will be giving the biggest gift to the current-loyalist

C&R needs to give Amal/HA an MP here
Amal/HA will give SSNP/leftist an MP there
SSNP/leftist will support C&R in other locations

... Every single vote count ... especially in tight district
We will sacrifice in easy districts (all of us) to win in tight districts

I hope FPM and all the opposition lists be ready by the coming few days (before the end of the week)
In the last 24 hours, we gained an edge in the battle by just announcing few candidates. Imagine, if the names are announced, lists ready and all efforts spent on the local interaction with people and REAL work on the ground

Loyalists are still far from being ready for the battle
That is our silver bullet, Hope we will be able to use it
