عون خلال جلسة مجلس النواب: نؤيد اقتراع العسكريين في الانتخابات

ايد رئيس كتلة "التغيير والاصلاح" النائب ميشال عون خلال مداخلة له في جلسة مجلس النواب، فكرة اقتراع العسكريين في الانتخابات النيايبة، مشيرا الى انه "من خق العسكريين الاقتراع"، وحول التمثيل النسائي في المجلس، اكد " ان المرأة تشكل نصف المجتمع، ويجب ان تأخذ 50% من الكوتا".

ولفت الى ان هناك من يطالب اليوم بالنسبية بعد ان رفضها في مرحلة سابقة ، مؤكد " ان ورقة التيار "الوطني الحر" هي اعتماد النسبية وفقا اتفاق الدوحة"، مشيرا "عندما قلنا بقانون 1960 فقط من اجل التخلص من قانون عام 2000".

Parliamentary session begins with electoral law debate on the agenda

The parliament holds a session of its general assembly to discuss the electoral law completed by the Administration and Justice Committee. Future Movement leader MP Saad Hariri, PSP leader Walid Jumblatt, and the head of the Change and Reform bloc MP Michel Aoun are participating in the session. Aoun expresses his opposition to the decision that municipality heads must resign from their positions six months before being allowed to run in parliamentary elections.

At the beginning of the session, Speaker Nabih Berri thanked the Administration and Justice Parliamentary Committee for its efforts to oversee electoral law reform in one month, rather than in the five days prior to the election, as has occurred in the past. He also thanked Interior Minister Ziad Baroud for attending the committee’s meetings, “even if the cabinet denied it [the electoral law] before the rooster crowed.”

Head of the Administration and Justice Committee MP Robert Ghanem read the text of the electoral law. Then there was an extensive discussion of the suggestion presented by MP Bahij Tabbara to give soldiers the right to vote in the elections. Aoun supported this suggestion while MPs Boutros Harb, Antoine Zahra, and Robert Ghanem opposed the proposal.

الحريري: لوقف الجدال حول النسبية واعتماد تقسيم الـ1960 كما اتفق بالدوحة

دعا رئيس كتلة "المستقبل" النائب سعد الحريري في مداخلة في المجلس النيابي لوقف الجدال حول النسبية خاصة ان الموضوع اخذ وقتا في الدوحة وتم التوصل لاعتماد قانون الـ1960.

Voting on electoral law begins, Siniora affirms cabinet’s refusal to allow soldiers to vote

The process of voting on the electoral law, as amended by the Administration and Justice Committee, has began. MP Boutros Harb expressed his reservation that a Maronite parliamentary seat would not be moved from Tripoli to Batroun. The Change and Reform bloc also expressed reservations that a minorities parliamentary seat would not be moved from the third electoral district in Beirut to the second.

Prime Minister Fouad Siniora confirmed that the cabinet would continue to refuse to allow soldiers to vote, and that the cabinet adopted the entire electoral law despite some reservations.

don't worry about that, they can't pass the 6 months thing coz they need 2/3 of the parliament to do it.....

14:33 تمّ التصويت حتى الساعة على المادة الأولى والتي تنصّ على أنّ عدد النواب هو 128 وينتخبون لمدة اربع سنوات بنظام أكثري وإقتراع عام سري وعلى درجة واحدة وصدّقت هذه المادة برفع الأيدي وكذلك المادة الثانية التي تنصّ على تقسيم الدوائر الإنتخابية، وقد سجّل تحفّظ كلّ من النواب إبراهيم كنعان وبطرس حرب.

14:43 في هذه الثناء تناقش المادة الرابعة والتي تنصّ على من لا يحقّ له الإقتراع، خصوصاً لجهة الاشخاص الذين عليهم أحكام شيكات بلا رصيد. العماد عون اعطى رأيه في الموضوع قائلاً: التعديل في هذه الخصوص يجب أن يشمل قانون المطبوعات ايضاً
