if anything this is reaffirming their secularism - that is, you dont always have to see things through a Muslim-Christian lens.

In few hours time, wanabatata.com will condemn this picture and will consider it as a new attack on Christianity.

How? Look at the picture, the word bible is written in red fonts and surrounded by yellow shadow, red and yellow are the color of the fire and fire represents hell, so Hezbollah is saying the bible is from Hell!
If you continue like this you will be offered a job at An Nahar...

I understand the unifying message in the ad, but my concern is that we're acting like god is on our side. If god exists, i doubt he would take sides in Lebanese politics.

The ad isn't saying "God believes in us", it is saying "We all believe in God"

I know, but the "we" is who? It's the opposition.

I don't want to over-analyze this ad, it's basically aimed at simpletons which consist of the majority of the Lebanese public. But not all of us who are with the opposition believe in god, and the majority of those with the loyalists, like the majority of those with the opposition, do believe in god. That's the problem with religion, if one uses it for politics, one becomes a laughing stock, like George W Bush.

But ya, whatever, if the people need such ads to remind them not to hate each other over ancient theological issues, then so be it.
