Of course I am against all armed factions outside the army and the direct control of the central government, all, including HA. |
that's a very simplistic way to put it. i am not for the arms of HA either, but i am for an armed resistance. however it is not the arms that are the source of the danger, but it is rather discipline, or the lack of it to be more precise.
HA has the ability to put thousands of fighters on streets in a split of a second, and also has the ability to make them disappear even faster. there seems to be a solid and responsible leadership chain in place, and that makes the difference between rog and safe.
it is not what that group declared that should cause you to worry, it is rather what they left unsaid. we do not need an internal balance of terror in Lebanon. we need a Lebanese defense strategy. new armed groups hiding under the banner of resistance will only make it harder to reach a national consensus on a defense strategy.
there is also the issues of extremism and rog fighters out of control, like the ones who are actively seeking to fire kitchen made missiles on israel from the south in order to provoke a retaliation.
so despite feb14's enthusiasm to embrace anything that would compromise HA, there is no real valid reason to rejoice.
