I may have agreed a couple of years ago ya Lila. Some may call that ignorance, some may call it blindness. But after major reflections and after the MoU and the 2006 war, I know that it comes down to that: it's all a matter of principles and honor.
I, as a Lebanese, will never accept compromise over my homeland. If I am ready to give up one inch of my land for some people to solve their problems then I am not worthy of keeping the rest of it. Palestinians have a homeland they have to go back to. And if they want them to settle down somewhere it is certainly not on Lebanese soil.
p.s: what would a Chebaa farms resident think if he hears this? How can you explain to him why Solidere has not been chosen instead of Chebaa - If Israel were to occupy it now ? Chebaa residents are as Lebanese as any of us and they are hence worth standing up for.
