Ya dara douri feena dalli douri feena ta yensou asameehoun w nensa asameena.
few wars later, few hundreds of martyrs later ( not that the word martyr is anything but the epitome of hypocrisy and banality) and enormous amount of destruction, here they go again with yet another episode of mutual deception, incompetence and lies to satisfy their own respective hopelssly helpless fans.
What guarantees do we have now that we didnt before? None?
In the unlikelihood that these invited guests are ever capable of practising honesty , albeit in its revised version, they should have one single item on the menu: how to break up the country in a civilised way and let each group live according to their own chosen way of life. Then again, if anything, they'll propagate their perpetual lies to an audience already too bored with their antics and too overwhelmed by their sorry state, that of their parents, and, most likely, their offsprings' as well.
they have been doing this since 1975 and yet the country is none the better for all of their talkfests and rounds of bull. Those who were lodging in the exclusive cabins of the Titatic managed to be lifted to safety and the rest... oh well.. got what their lot dictates... became martyrs and were celebrated in endless memorials.
The snacks should be prepared by the finest chefs in the presidential palace, and the pictures will look cute but as soon as they get back to their respective homes, it'll all evaporate like thin fog under a burning sun. And the bickering will resume in earnest and the spirit of that insipid and meaningless agreement will be squandered in the natural course of daily ritual.
Old habits die hard , or so they say.
Lies and more lies.
If it werent for the real effects of the tragedy, the re-runs promise to be equally exhilirating if only in that vacuous sense.
