I was just listening to a 14 march politician on FutureNews "el Beit 2Leik".

Anyways he said That If HA is supposed to have weapons to fight israel Then The Kataeb and LF should also have Weapons in order to Resist the "Palestinian Tawteen Issue" like they did in the past.

Now as u've mentionned LF and Kataeb consider this to be a Scarecrow issue invented by FPM. SO HOW CAN HE SAY THAT???

Ya President I urge you at the national dialogue to speak first and foremost about how we are going to disarm the palestinians in and outside of the camps. There is no difference in or out. It is still lebanese territory.
2nd, a defense strategy and the future of HA's weapons.
3rd, How to revive the economy and hope in people. We need employment, health care, electricity.

The country's whole governing infrastructure needs to be redesigned, teared down & rebuilt!
Any dialogue not touching the core problems is a waist of time or at best,
a postponnent of the next civil war!

And to be frank, HA would probably be the first to happily fold this table up, and postpone issues essential to the future of this country, as soon as it gets the first stupid guarantee that the weapons issue is out of the market.

Some politicians are going to feel slighted for not being invited, but I don't care about those. What interests me is what is going to be discussed.

3 questions:
1. Other the defense strategy, what should be on the table?
2. Why did the first Dialogue Table fail? (sorry can't remember the details)

sometimes these kind of round tables might not have much impact , but at least they are like a tenfisse .....
wil it solve the problems, no, will it make a good excuse for calming the polity yes.
how long, we can never tell.
lebanon problems like so many other countries are structural, cultural, and so deep that they can never be fixed but cleverly managed for along time if we decided to.

as for adding some names, it must happen .
since some existing now are really non representaives , especially people like hareb, tweini,jmael, qernet swhwan, they can all be represented by 1 person...
and SF need to be added, after GMA he is the second Maronite with wide popularity and weight.
also we need to hear the other
druze voice now that wello and erselan are friends
sunni voice especailly after what happened on tripoli seleh
