I think it is better not to mention any country but instead mention anyone that attacks Lebanon.....

Not while every single person bordering the south is armed "just in case". You're still up in clouds, get down to earth.

It's not a matter 'not being allowed'. Israel is the strongest army, even little kids bordering our villages are armed.

It's really funny how now everyone in Lebanon is a military expert.

Michel Aoun does have some experience, yet there are a lot of issues that are past him since he's not in the military organization anymore.
There are a lot of details that a politician isn't aware of

And why are other people proposing a defense strategy ?

Isn't it the role of the army to propose a defense strategy that WOULDN'T be presented in the national newspapers ???

How about we let the syrians, palestinians and Israelis in on it ???

What about contingency plans?

Israel is determined not to allow any Palestinians to return to their homeland...what happens on our local level?

This can go on for decades...

i agree 100%. States (Syria, Israel, etc.) and non-states (FEI, Fatah al-Intifada, pflp, etc...) can both attack lebanon.

mahouwweh aoun yilli 2al "al jaych houwal 7al". Let's stick to it...

(Note: HA is 'resistance' and works with the army on many levels, so there's the logic for their omission)

First, the whole thing is too generic, and this is what everyone claims. I believe more specific propositions must be given.

The quoted text is very surprising, so now disarming armed factions in Lebanon (including HA) is related to the palestinians and resolution 194? Wasnt Aoun himself the person who endorsed 1559, and now he's complaining that the UN wants to go through with that resolution? This is becoming confusing. Why did Aoun accept the 1559 before the 194 is complete?
