It's not a collective punishment thing, even in worst cases their life circumstances in camps is still better than the Lebanese in some areas like Baalbak & Hermel, Personally the max I can do is sympathize but I don't feel 1 bit guilty.
A great portion of them is ungrateful, still living above the law, have no respect to the Army institution, coasted us plenty of wars, I don't think we should reward them for that, even if we did, they simply won't blend in, the Shiaa + christian society will reject them as Lebanese, the sunni street will cheer for such move in order to use them as a wild card in elections and leveling up their missing population count with the Shiaa, last but not least "Iza ma 2iloun khier la Palastein mish la7 ykoun feoun khier for Lebanon"

Re-building the camp - Expanding the camp - Investing in surrounding landscapes for the sake of the new camp, are all baby steps preparing for the big one, didn't the Army implant a new check point in order to prevent something of that sort, but Palestinians weren't too happy it ?

Haven't we paid enough price for their existence in Lebanon ? Let's not get carried away by emotions but they never have been the nicest, easiest guests, they have suffered but in many occasions they made us suffer too.
Some of them still are attached to their Case and would reject el-tawteen but the Majority just wanna live and will vow down as soon as cash starts to flow in, again the average Lebanese can't give the Palestinian a better life because he can barely keep up with his.

You leave them in camps, deny them education and then argue that they are not socially productive???
The Israeli Arabs on average are richer, healthier and more educated than the average Lebanese. Still, you maintain they are second class citizens because you compare them to Jews, not to other Arabs. Your comparison to other countries does not hold.
You speak as if you are knowledgeable on Lebanese living conditions? How do you expect for the Lebanese to offer these services when they lack it themselves and are living below the standards?

as a Palestinian I think the residents of naher el bared hold a big part of responsiblity for their plight because they were so naive. they were naive when they didn't question from where and for what those Fath el Islam came to their camp although i don't think they could do anything about them even if they wanted because who were behind those terrorists are big countries helped by Lebanese security services and Palestinian agents and they don't notice how those kinds of groups will be used by Lebanese, Syrian, Saudi and western secret agencies to pass messages between each other in a very delicate time in Lebanese history. they were so naive when they believe also by going out of camp during war and distance themselves from Fath el Islam they will be considered in the same side with the Lebanese army against those fanatics and they will save themselves from being labeled as helping them , they were so so naive when they believed what they were told by Lebanese government that what was destroyed from the camp will be rebuilt. they should have known that somebody would start singing the naturalization song. How naive they were!!!!
