Michel Sleiman to visit Iran November 24

President Michel Suleiman will visit Iran later this month, foreign ministry spokesman Hassan Ghashghavi told reporters on Monday.
"On Azar 4, Michel Suleiman is due to make a trip to Iran," Ghashghavi said, referring to November 24 on the Iranian calendar but without giving further details about the visit.

In Beirut, the presidency confirmed that the visit will take place on November 24 and 25.

Iran hailed Suleiman's election in May after supporting Qatari mediation to end Lebanon's long-running political crisis.

Suleiman, who received Iranian Ambassador Mohammad Reza Shibani at the Baabda Palace on Monday, said that his foreign visits were aimed at reasserting Lebanon's regional and international role.

GMS visit to Iran will not affect anyone because he doesn't represent the Christians or anyone else. No one will attack him for sure.....the weak ones are not subjected to attacks....

Whether we like it or not, he is still our president, and we should defend the presidency should he be attacked for his visit...

But i dont expect the feb14 ghanam to do so, as they lack the balls. For one thing, they should be thankful for GMA, bidouno byezha2o and ma binazlo bayenet...

at the ned of the day, teh 14feb hates him but for eletion reasons are not attacking him LOL

No thanks, they are busy focusing on GMA visit to Syria. when it will happen? how they can manipulate the result of his visit for their contempt followers? and what drama scene(s) should be developed to portrait them as the proponent of the Lebanese society welfare?
Beside, the president represents all Lebanese and his visit will materialize more benefits to the Lebanese than that of GMA! How and what? they are the ones who know, as a great quote from this forum goes "everyone can believe the facts that they want"
