neither gma nor berri's grandfather was a politician as far as i know.neither their uncles nor their fathers were politicians or a president.before gma and berri, both their families were never heard of in politics.am against monarchies and am against feudal families in lebanese politics.

i would be opposing if GMA or berri have children or relatives that would want to contest or gain people's symthathy because of their last names.

I don't vote in Maten but my opinion is the following: i think there's a major problem in the lebanese people in general, they mix politics with personal feelings, they vote with their hearts not with their brains.... People it's politics, and in politics there is no place for personal feelings, u have to vote according to ur interests.....concerning Maten, if i were to vote there i would never vote for gemayel for the reasons they gave in 2005 (ma badna nsakker bait siyese and because bkerke wants this or anything close to this cr*p) provided this doesn't affect FPM's interests.now if there is a very good reason for voting Murr or gemayel which outweighs my personal despise for these two,i would do it.after all i believe in a certain party and in its agenda and i would do whatever it takes to help this party achieve it.u have to weigh the pros and cons of ur choices, in certain scenarios voting Murr or gemayel might not be perfect but it might be the lesser of two evils.i think people should vote for political programs not for individuals that's why i believe in closed lists (i hate toshtib). i vote in Keserwen and i hate Fares Boueiz i simply wouldn't like to see FPM take this guy as a candidate, but if it happens for one reason or another i would vote for the full list simply because i vote for political programs not individuals.now of course, this doesn't mean that individual candidates are not important, the better they are ,the better the party's image is.if they have high qualifications the party would be able to achieve its goals much easier, and of course all this put together will increase people's trust in this particular party.
So never say never, u should make ur choices based on the uniqueness of the situation in 2009.

Of course not! FPM doesn't ally or compromise with corrupt feudal or sectarian leaders, so NO for Gemayels, as easy as that.

Do you have proof that Gemayel is corrupt, feudal or sectarian?

What are your sources?

Well, let's see. Everybody knows that (or "we" know that). Where do you live Amirkani? In LaLa land... And there's that other popular one, um, wake up and smell the coffee.
But frankly I was expecting you to ask for proofs that FPM doesn't ally with feudal leaders or corrupts, that would have been funnier.

Walaw, you should know. My name tells it all: I live in Amrika.

And I wouldn't know such details about Gemayel if you hadn't brought them up.

My point is that it's not nice to accuse Gemayel of being corrupt, feudal and sectarian unless you have proof.
