Thank you. But I noticed that on one of her pictures she has the following comment.

"The RPG weighs around 25kg and each of the grenades in his backpack weighs around 12kg. This guy must be well trained and very strong "

This comment has inaccurate info. RPG weighs around 7 kg and the shells weighs arond 3 kg. There is no way a guy can have any kind of maneuverability with 75 kg on his back. It would be a death sentence for any soldier to carry such a heavy load in any street fight.

She has to exaggerate the fact that they are well trained, or maybe she lacks the knowledge. In any street fight the soldier must be light on his feet. The guys seem very organized. I noticed 1 heavy gunner, 1 grenadier, and riflemen. They are aware of weapon safety, aiming, taking proper positions even their stance is that of a well trained fighter.

Was the hamra battle that intense that it required HA to hit the streets ? I looked closely at the pictures again and I noticed some guys are from HA's "elite" units. I might be mistaken though.

Observer, western soldeirs train with atleast 75 pounds of gear. So I wouldn't be surprised if HA has the same standard (if not more). If they can run with a grad then I doubt a couple of RPGs would make a difference :P

Ok. But 75 lbs is half the 75 kg I mentioned.

mbala ma hizballah mitil iron man :)

lets do the math...

RPG-7 = 15 lbs
1 Round = 5.7 lbs x 5 = 28.5
AKS-47 = 8.5 lbs (empty)
lets say they each carry 5 mags (even though some of their vests carry more) = 7lbs
helmet = 4 lbs
LBV = 2.5 lbs (about)

assuming they are not carrying extra ammo for the gunner, no medic equipment, food, or water the total weight comes up to: 65.5 lbs

so yes i would say 75kg is very exagerated.

For the comments above...those guys are HA or have HA advisors :)

No HA elite units took part of any battle that occured.The few HA fighters that participated mainly in the mountain,were only 3rd rank fighters.
