On a serious note, sometimes I think that someone should just wrap every cultural aspect of the Lebanese society in a kit containing a book, a DVD including all the folkloric artwork across the ages, a food recipe book, a jar with some of the best Lebanese soiled soil in it, and a little bottle with the most polluted sample of our water....Then shut this country down and declare it a relic of the past...Then sell these kits on the internet for nostalgic dudes and historians and anthropologists.

I usually get those kind of ideas in my most optimistic days.

One might be 'Sitting Abroad', that doesn't abate his endearment to his home country. It's not because the flag underneath your avatar indicates that you're abroad that this sort of 'accusation/defamation' is acceptable.

Anyway, I don't want to debate the cause behind Shadow's move outside of Lebanon. Each one of us has his own personal motivation/excuses. But you (and some other people on this forum) need to know once and for all that our attachment and our '7ames' for our country is (or was depending on the case) likely to be as high as yours (yours as in people still in Lebanon) and that we are as entitled as you are to preach about the changes we'd like to see.

Concerning the dude's unfortunate incident, thorough investigations should take place as the motivation behind this is undoubtedly political (contrarily to the cursed-a-religious-figure/got-beaten-up-by-thugs-wearing-shiaa-masks(yes they do exist)/Christians-should-get-armed-with-pepper-sprays(©Vicking)-story) .
