But if any lebanese is to be bestowed upon the honor of kicking the syrians out, it would be those who resisted them for 15 years when they were ruling, not those who suddenly remembered that Syria was an occupier when Rafic Hariri died.

Now, this still does not deny that what I said was accurate. The guys ruling today were the same bunch ruling during the syrian era. Heck, nothing changed with them except that their allegiance changed from Syria to the USA. They still have the same thinking and the exact same behavior. They haven't changed one tiny bit.
Some of them their allegiance was to the US all along. When the US wanted Syria to stay in Lebanon their orders were: work with them. When the time came for Syria to leave the orders where given for the revolution... Remember the other revolutions orchestrated by the US in eastern Europe?

If the US changes their orders again, be ready to work for the Syrians!

Do you remember who helped the Syrians invade Ba3bda in 1990? SG, WJ, etc.

Since Gebran is your avatar, do you remember who tried to kill him? And who successeded in killing Danny?

Now back to March 14th, 2005, do you think any of your "M14 heroes" gave a rat's *** about Lebanon's independence? Why were they serving their syrian masters since 1990? The only reason they discovered "Patriotism" is because Khaddam and Hariri fell out of favor in Damascus... Remember that. The day Syria does a deal with KSA, Hariri and Joumblatt will be the first to give them another Beirut key... They're the ones who gave them the first key!!!

Let's assume Aoun is 100% not a Syria/Iranian pawn and has the interests of Lebanon at the top of his agenda. How on Earth can you prevent the return of the Syrians when:
+ HA is seen as the leader of the opposition, they are armed and they are openly Syria and Iran's reps in Lebanon
+ Nabih Berri is the head of Parliament
+ Wiam Wahhab is a minister
+ Asaad Hirden is a minister
+ Jamil el Sayyid is a minister
+ Sleiman Frangieh is a minister
+ Baath/SSNP/Marada/HA/Amal are all part of the new govt

It's easy to shout empty slogans how if you win reforms will take place and you will fight corruption and the return of the Syrians but reality is FAR different. If la sama7 Allah M8 wins, it WILL be the return of Syria!

Once u start posting facts, we will start debating with u on this subject. But until then, I say tough. Discussing hypothesis as the inevitable future is nothing short of claiming Einstein discovered Space travel while we haven't even colonized the Moon yet.

You should know, LF are the masters of shouting empty slogans and then backstabbing ("oua hal tous'al el kouwat al loubnaniah 3an el ta'if" should ring a bell... your (i.e. SG's LF) history is a long story of empty slogans, crimes and treason)

Once and for all, what you call M14 ruled with the Syrians and were very happy to be their slaves for 14 years... (and your leader for 4 years... then he ended-up in jail) ... The only reason they became anti-Syrian is because Khaddam fell out of favor in Syria and thus they could no longer continue their corruption and business as usual... Syria had other "favorites"...

Let Khaddam be back in power in Syria or Syria develop an understanding with KSA and see how they'll welcome them with open arms

And yes, the last man standing against a Syrian return will be FPM and their block, so it should be the largest possible

same old scare tactics eh? LOL...
considering the big number of C&R deputees in the next parliament,
C&R and the President of the Republic will surely get a lot more than
1/3 of the government (maybe half and the other half will go to FPM
allies e.g HA,Amal etc...),
so C&R+President can block any possible government decision asking
Syrian forces to return except if you don't trust the President
but you can trust FPM that they will vote against such a decision and
will fight it.
don't worry, Syria will not be back. you can wear your pyjamas and
sleep like a baby.

Saying that you will fight corruption and not allow the Syrians back is a hypothesis as well... So that should be thrown out too, I guess...
