This is good news in general, just overcoming the stalemate is a success by itself. this is going to be an opportunity for FPM to put some order back into whichever ministries it may end up in charge of; i would have liked for FPM to get the social affairs; but from the bits of news that are being leaked it doesn't seem that we got it.

FPM has a bumpy road ahead in the government, specifically in terms of budgeting, and this time around GMA does not have an army at his command to enforce the government’s decision; the first few month of his 1988 government were impressive in terms of enhancing the efficiency of diverse departments; news has it that public employees are buying new alarm clocks, so we'll see how that goes :)
