4th April 2009
We are around 2 months away from the upcoming parliamentary elections. LF had just declared their electoral program for the upcoming elections.
I would like to know the achievements of the LF and Kataeb parliamentary blocs in terms of law proposals, ministerial achievements... for the past 4 years. Any type of information that would help the undecided voter decide on whether to vote or note for LF or Kataeb candidates.
FPM has a similar document available. I would like to get feedback from the LFers and Kataebists on their parliamentary bloc achievements for the past 4 years. | | | | | Orange Room Supporter

I prefer the thread to stick to LF bloc and not the Kataeb one, for the sad reasons that we all know... | | | | | Registered Member

I think you are confusing things all together Diabolo.. For some people, irrespective of partisanship, having reached for, getting hold of and finally managing to rest butt on a parliamentary chair is THE MISSION, and nothing more.
Needless to mention that for most of those parasites, also managing to keep doing this over and over again becomes a mental, and naturally financial, obsession. In a farm, where the 7arba2a, banda2a and clientalism laws are lifted forward as very important skills to master in our daily struggle to control chaos and survive, some learn quickly that it is from the inside the system is optimally parasited upon. The Parliamant is thus a good place to be at.
Anyway and in direct reply to your topic, if one day they manage to have elections inside the Syndicate For Most Parasites in the parliament, I bet Kataeb and LFers will harvest a smashing victory over all the others, combined.. | | | | | Administrator

let me see:
-Ashrafieh riots Feb 5th 2005
-cancellation of holy Friday
-approval for foreigners to own real estate in lebanon without any control
-marginalization of Christians in all government employments
-illegal eavesdropping on the population
-failure to solve any crime
-continuation of looting and corruption
-preventing people from going back to their homes in shouf and Aley
-continued increase in debt without any real economic plan
of course, LF MP didn't accomplish any of these.. they didn't actually accomplish anything, but they approved blindly what their master decided...

Coupled with them having offered their respective organs to the syrians back in the day, I'm confident that no magic pill in the world can achieve anything in that department. | | | | | Registered Member

Guys,
The LF can't achieve anything :
1st : they are too small and not respected by their "allies". What do you want to impose when you only have few MP's ? when your ally is Jumblat or Hariri ?
2nd : They do not have any program. They give general aims that we all share.. but they dont explain how they want to reach them.
3rd : They can decrease Christian power by reducing the C&R bloc number of MP's, but they wont be able to pass any law, anything. These people are only there to hurt Christian. They are paid by Hariri and KSA.
Voting LF is stupid.. it is like loosing a vote. Geagea ma elo kelme yii oula !!! | | | | | Orange Room Supporter
