Why would you give 50% for Christians when they represent only 35% of the population?

Lebanon is not divided between Christians and Muslims, it is between Maronites, sunnis, shiaas, druze, orthodox, catholics, etc etc etc

Bring back the French. Tell them we're open for an invasion on condition that their First Lady spearheads the assault. This is the only solution.

Agreed, then how would you ensure minorities representations? Would it be proportionate to the size of the sects? The bigger the ethnicity the more power? If so then I don't see it any different from what it is now. Or is there?

um they already do rule. The Sunnis wield the dollars and the Shiites wield the weapons.

there's already a sizeable Christian community that's being marginalized. Complements of Mr. Saad Hariri

Because the difference between Muslims & Christian is ARTIFICIAL.

There has been 250 000 citizens imposed in 1994 through this illegal naturalization law.

There is a long list of Arab Christian (Iraqi + Egyptian); who wants to get citizenship and they can't.
There is also a big list of Lebanese origins in Brazil / USA/ Australia who wants to get the nationality - 80% are Christian.

Don't worry for the Christian of Lebanon; the whole future is bright and we will get back to a normal balance.

Last, the 1994 naturalization law gives the Christian the right to naturalize 250 000 people.

Regards
