Federalism? I'm not gonna lie and tell you that it's all rainbows and butterflies, but just TRY to envision a christian who normally works in Aley and who tries to head back to work after ur beloved federalism is implemented! Imagine the harassment, the mania*é, and everything of the sort... We'll go back to private security squads and search parties and and and...so NO!

Unless someone shows me a map of how federalism works without killing another 200,000people, I am not a willing participant in this topic.

Supposing it works, the only thing federalism can accomplish is to transform internal hatred/wars/conflicts into inter-state hatred/wars/conflicts among the UUSSL (The Un-United Sectarian States of the Levant)!!

They dont use brimstone and fire in this day and age anyway. Your solution has been tried time and time again and like Jason in Friday the 13th movies, the country kept coming back from the dead to remain a blight on humanity's conscience fro ever.

I for one am totally against federalism of any sort. I support an outright partitioning of the country with what it might entails of population transfer. Otherwise the country will forever bleed itself to death with so many tragedies, pain and suffering. The last 90 years are but a living proof of the unworkability of this experiment.

What's happening now is that the christians are being squeezed inside a ghetto no more than 500 sq km in size. Come next civil war that will be reduced by half. So in order for them to see clearly their future they must look at how the people of Gaza live today and try to pick up few survival tips from them . What federalism will do is simply keep a state of uncertainty and lengthen the period of instability in the country. For that we have no one but Bkerki to thank.

I love how pro-federalists like to parade the notion with absolutely no regards to its feasibility.

It sounds idealistic but we need to start emphasizing how we're similar as opposed to how we're different.
