being a destination and being a place to live are two different things and the difference is huge, you know the first destination for Montrealers is Cuba?! while every Cuban wants to leave Cuba.
Bottom line the quality of your life changes a lot when you can earn a lot of money but on average lebanese don't have the money to buy all the services they need to have a good quality of life, of course a saudi visiting has enough money to rent the best car the best hotel and pay his way to a hospital buy his own park inside his huge mansion in Hammana...
