The Lebanese State's definition of Democracy, Freedom and Terrorism

لوحظ انتشار كثيف للّوحات الإعلانيّة والملصقات المؤيّدة لمؤسس التيّار السلفي في لبنان، داعي الإسلام الشهال، على الطريق الممتدة من العبدة وطرابلس والبلمند، وحملت هذه اللوحات عبارة «كونوا أقوياء بالله وبدينكم وارفعوا هذه الراية رفع الله جباهكم». وقد شوهدت في المناطق المجاورة لطرابلس حتّى مجدليا وفي ساحل إقليم الخرّوب أيضاً. واللافت في الأمر أن هذه الحملة جاءت بعد عودة الشهال من زيارة طويلة إلى السعودية والحديث عن استعداده لأداء دور سياسي، تمهيداً لخوض الانتخابات النيابية ضمن لائحة تيار «المستقبل» ممثلاً للقوى الإسلامية في المدينة.

I sent an e-mail to al-akhbar newspaper few days ago, asking them to cover this news, it has been 2 weeks that i see those billboards on the roads.
I was thinking about the lebanese state's beautiful definition of democracy and freedom of speech, and it reminds me of what used to happen between 1992 and 2004, when FPMers demonstrated against the syrian occupation, and hariri's governments were pretty generous with FPMers ,and never let them go not one time without beating , jailing or giving them a shower .

FPMers were treated like criminals, and accused of helping the enemy against the state, and working against the national unity.

as for the new terrorist , al-shahal , he's now being covered by the government , and his salafi's movement's activities are approved by the government and the security institutions .

This is a small example of how much the lebanese state is fair, the one who participates in clashes are now having billboards, while the ones who asked for lebanon's freedom were dealt like criminals.

وبعد الظهر عقد اجتماع في مكتب مدير مخابرات الجيش اللبناني العميد الركن توفيق يونس في ثكنة بهجت غانم في طرابلس ضم عدداً من الضباط وممثلين عن: الحزب العربي الديموقراطي، تيار المستقبل، أفواج طرابلس، جند الله، التيار السلفي، ورؤساء المجموعات في محلة التبانة.

If you hold a picture and asking for lebanon's freedom, you'll be jailed and banned from political life :



but if you hold a gun, you kill your brothers, you attack the army,... you get the approval to participate in the political life. as if we need more criminals here.
