Well, we don't know what actually was in those CDs! it might propaganda! But if it was just general information, than this is really stupid, you have more books on the knesset at your local library than kitchen books! | | | | | Orange Room Supporter

i bet those cds were normal cds with info on knesset like they have info on the parliament of congo..
but when a book/cd references the prime evils (not anti israel, not pro islam) bad things happen..
ah, then it's time for a good old fashion nazi style book burning hehe.. | | | | | Registered Member

Officially banning the distribution of a dvd that includes the functionality of the Israeli Kenesset, is more a formal protest to the UN against Israel, than it is against obtaining info on the Israelis.
As ridiculous as it may sound, If they don't formally ban the dvd, they are committing a crime, as it is against the law to obtain products made in israel.
But unofficially, The Lebanese government and the intellegence services, both armies, Lebanese and Hizbullah have lot more info on the Israelis than a stupid doco. | | | | | Registered Member

by the way, almost all the Lebanese travel or know people who travel, so believe me it is not hard to get any book from amazon | True 100%, as we say in Arabic اعرف عدوك, and "keep your friends close and your enemies closer"!!
As much as i agree with what Greg Davis said: "As ridiculous as it may sound, If they don't formally ban the dvd, they are committing a crime, as it is against the law to obtain products made in israel. But unofficially, The Lebanese government and the intelligence services, both armies, Lebanese and Hezbollah have lot more info on the Israelis than a stupid doco", i think the Lebanese people should collect all the information possible on Israel so that we could criticize it in a constructive manner and find its weak points, especially us, the citizens, who tend sometimes to attack blindly without enough solid information... | | | | | Registered Member

Guys... Respect plz..
let's not hide behind our fingers.... the real question is who is with Tatbee3 and who is against .... 1st full stop
second, your parliament is the house of constitution and laws... whether you like it or not... Israeli c**p is not to be in your parliament... it contradicts... 2nd full stop Some one asked what to do when we see Israeli???
don't Hide??? face him instead and here some tips:
Your Guide to talk with Israelis:
First: FPMers
when you see him face him and say confidently:
- "Shalom, Mashlomkha?" (Hi, how you doing?)
- when he say: "Tov, ve at?"(Good, and you?)
- say:"ani gam kal khola!"(I'm too sick!)
- he will say: "heei?"(why)
- you should say: " Makeyyon shal atam Am mazeyyon, la3zazal Mamzar!" (because of you mother f.....ers, f.....ing bas.....s)...
- if he say:" at heev laheemtsa khizballa" (you must be Hizbollah)
- say: "la, ani shalo lahtkashar, ani -khonam patrioti tno3ah- KPT"(no, I'm his ally, I'm free patriotic movement FPM)
- he might say: "Genral Mikhal Aoun!!!" (GMA)
- you say: "Motov lamout az" (better die then)
And end the conversation quickly...
Second LFers:
"Shali Adam Yadid"(My old friend).... Hugs and Tears... unable to speak...
but one word:
"2eemah laheemtsa atam? atam la3zov lani li Khizballa"(where are you? you left us to Hizbollah)... cries and tears...
he will say:"Samer Geegaa, oh, lakorah laheemtsa tov, lakorah, lakorah" (Samir Jea'jea', oh, crying is good, cry, cry)
conversation never ends.... allot of things to say... | | | | | The Following 2 Users Say Thank You to Cyclops For This Useful Post: | | | Registered Member

that said, dont drag FPM into this by generalizing here Jade, ur thread was cool until u decided to play smart and add the last unconnected 'fpm stick section' hehe | Actually I am going to drag FPM into this for many reasons:
1) If the parliament members are the ones who banned it, then the FPM bears the responsibility of not having stood against it
2) If the parliament's system (i.e: the institution, Berry and his kids) is the one who banned it, then FPM also bears responsibility for electing such a crook
3) The FPM is supposed to voice our concerns and to stop these actions that are taking our county backwards, if it isn't doing anything, then it is an accomplice.......Isn't this what the FPMers are lately saying ??? If you're not against, you're with ? If Baroud kept his mouth shut about some things, then he was ok with them, ma hek ?? | | | | | | |
