It could be one person burning billboards for both camps.

As if you don t have these kind of people in the ranks of Hizbullah , Amal , FPM, Future or any other party in Lebanon.
The "wazawez" (as you call them in Lebanon) are a social phenomena that touches the Lebanese society as a whole. The war, the long time economical crisis , the brainwashing of the political parties and above all the lack of educational system and access for all to a decent education made a generation of uneducated , ignorant and debilized people who as you described live in a limited world.
Unstead of using this sad phenomenon for political propaganda (to stigmatize a rival party in order to spread a false propaganda that you re the "elite" and they are the low class people thus playing with the social complex the Lebanese have) you should do something to cope with it and find solutions to educate our youth , aren t you the ones who claim to bring "changes and reforms" ?

Honestly you're analysis is soooo limited.
if the billboard is wet , it means they took the picture right after they turned the fire off. it doesn't mean they burned it then turned the fire off simultaneously.
Unfortunately , we have in lebanon a big ' conspiracy ' problem with some wannabe truth-finders.

How could they have managed to put out the fire so quickly if they weren't the arsonists themselves? ...unless they had an outlook on that very same billboard (Oh the coincidence), and he managed to put out the fire but not see the vandal nor was able to stop him! Or maybe the billboard is made of some super resistant material that it takes hours to burn so someone was bound to see the fire and stop it.

PS: I'm just following the theory that the fire was put out by humans and not Mother Nature (whether it was rain or the wind).

during the last 4 years FPMers haven't torn or burnt any Feb14 picture or billboard, and they have no reason to start now.
too bad for the geageaists elie makhoul is still fresh in our memory.
this is rather pathetic. someone, not necessarily a geageaist, must have noticed the negative effects inflicted on the nossiyeen of Feb14, so they just decided to even the odds out.

pathetic.
