Is there any chance to put some pressure on the new US government to change Feltman from Lebanon. This man has brought nothing but misery to Lebanon, and his speaches are worse than the lowest worm in 14 whatever group.

Now that the US has a new government, and they declare new policies towards the whole world including the middle east, I think it is the right time to change Feltman.

i attended the meeting in troy Michigan. it was a typical lebanese hafleh, the food was good, every one was nice and friendly. May akL gave a short speech about the situation in Lebanon and she anwered the audience questions. Nothing new in either. personally i was a bit disappointed.

Although I can understand your concerns, I wouldn't bet on changing Feltman. In terms of the government here, he's a State Department employee who has developed a knowledge of Middle Eastern affairs.

The best thing we can do, I think (just my opinion), is put pressure on the government's special envoy to the Middle East, George Mitchell, to provide a better solution to the Palestinian refugees issue, considering that a large part of his job is to develop a Palestinian-Israeli peace deal.

I wish Sagesse can tell us what you know about "Rami" so maybe you convince us not to go to tayyar michigan events anymore...?!

Examples are a good way to support your assumptions!

hi all,

This is surprising, given how Rami put the events together. I got to collaborate with Rami, over the phone and by email, during the preparations for May's tour. I found he was creative, efficient and very organized in how he put the Michigan events together. He also has good teamwork ethics: he readily shares helpful techniques and information he knows with others.

In case some of those who complained actually have ideas on how to do things better next time, Rami is surely willing to collaborate with them.
