Lets just hope our Sister Country "Syria" gives our detainees in the Syrian Prisons the same level of humanity Lebanon's Sworn Enemy "Israel" gave the Likes of Samir Kuntar and the Hizbullah captives.

That is of course if they are still alive. And If not, at least a detailed report of their fate, and if possible, coffins of their remains to give their parents closure.

Isn't it a shame that Both Bashar & Sleiman claim that relations between Lebanon and Syria are normal?

This has to resolved. These prisoners need to be returned to lebanese soil immediately. This is not acceptable. Once they are returned we should makes huge parade for them similar to the one that was done 2 days ago. I just hope they have not been killed/exexcuted as we all know how the arab regimes act!

Shuyui

The likeliness of their well being is remote, particularly when dealing with inhumane regimes like the Syrian one.

Acknowledging their existance and granting their loved ones closure is the least Bashar can do, for anyone, with the least bit of decency, to consider the situation between lebanon and Syria Normal.

I despized the March 8 parade and all who contributed because of Syria's autrocities in Lebanon.

We can only truly celebrate Lebanon as a free nation when our fellow lebanese drop their foreign allegences and look at the best interest of their country, not Saudia Arabia, Not Iran, Not Syria, Not the US

The truth is talk is cheap. Since the creation of this small country we have had foreign interference and this sadly will never change due to us(lebanese people). We never learn.

Are you giving us the "impression" that Israel is more humane?

Wait for the day of judgement then. You want the LFs to let Israel down? That's blasphemy...

Does there have to be a price? Don't you think we've paid enough?

11:14 Hezbollah Media Officer Hussein Rahhal to ANB Television: The dossier of the Lebanese detainees [in Syrian prisons] is very complicated, and we hope to solve it with the establishment of diplomatic relations between Lebanon and Syria. There is also the dossier of the Lebanese who disappeared in Lebanon, which is related to some local officials.
