جميل هو الإنتصار والأجمل هي المثابرة على تحقيقه. عاد الأسرى اللبنانيون الى ديارهم بعد طول سنوات. ولكن هل عادوا جميعا؟ قطعا لا. ففي ظلمات الزنزانات، لبنانيون ينتظرون موعدهم مع الحرية. يترقبون صحوة ضمير حاكم، وميزان عدالة التاريخ.
من إسرائيل خرجوا. أما في سوريا فهم باقون. لذلك، لم يسدل الستار على الملف ولن يطوى. اليوم قبل الغد، باتت القضية أكثر إلحاحا.
في الناقورة نصبت خيمة. وفي وسط بيروت، قبالة الإسكوا، خيمة سبقتها منذ سنوات. هي خيمة أهالي المعتقلين اللبنانيين في السجون السورية.
أيها الحكام، في لحظات سعادتكم بعودة اللبنانيين من إسرائيل، وفي خضم الإحتفالات و نثر الأرز، قفوا للحظة، وتأملوا في النعوش العائدة. كم من دمعة انسكبت حرقة عليها. كم من والدة وأب وأخ وصديق ورفيق تسمّروا طوال سنوات، عايشوا المرض والقهر، ليروا اليوم أحباءهم بقايا في صندوق خشبي. قفوا، ترقّبوا وإياكم أن تنسوا أن في سوريا وفي بعض المقابر الجماعية فصول أخرى من المأساة.

Today was a historic day with the prisoners coming back to their homeland. Inshallah next is the prisoners in Syria. I hope these 2abtal also return to lebanon soon.

First off we should make a big demonstration calling for their release IF GMS fails in this mission. Then ofcourse when they are returned there needs to be A HUGE ceremony. They should not be forgotten as they ALSO paid a heavy price against the occupation. ALL prisoners need to be returned to their homeland.

What have you dont lately to the issue of those prisoners? Did you do something that FPM hasnt done?

are opening threads in the forum and designing websites and sporadically mentioning this issue by FPM representatives really enough?
we can't deny that we haven't been quite vocal nor effectively active concerning this painful issue.
IMHO FPM officials should have be more vocal in this issue and question on every occasion the lebanese government about the progress in its alleged follow-up committee. How many times did the C&R block mention this issue in its weekly meetings and associated minutes?
How about the media outlet. Why don't OTV broadcast everyday in its newsreport from the sit-in? why don't OTV organize a special TV program on this issue?
How about being active on the ground?
etc.. etc...

FPM is surely the only one caring for these detainees but FPM is only doing what we describe in french as "le minimum syndical"...
