Aren't the valentinos supposed to give GMA a medal if this article comes out to be true?
Accusing the other side of doing the same as us does not help, it makes the FPM look cheap. It is up to the FPM to hold itself accountable for confusing policy shifts and erroneous strategic shifts. In other words, the internal FPM elections should happen soon. If not, the top positions in the party will go to those who do not deserve it and just married-into the organization, so to speak.

Change and Reform bloc leader MP Michel Aoun met “several times with representatives from the Israeli Mossad in Paris, during the period of his exile between 1991 and 2005,” the French newspaper Le Figaro reported on Thursday.

According to the paper, French intelligence officers charged with monitoring Aoun’s movements advised him to avoid meeting with agents of a country Lebanon was still officially at war with.

“However, the Christian General refused to listen to these warnings. At the time, Michel Aoun was one of the primary opponents of the Syrian military presence in Lebanon. As for now, the general has changed his mind and positioned himself, since his return in 2005, within the group that includes Hezbollah and has found it necessary to establish good relations with Damascus,” the newspaper reported, adding that news of Aoun’s contacts with Mossad would not be appreciated by his Syrian friends.

What do you guys think of this article to come out of Le Figaro?
What did GMA negotiate with the Israeli's?
Was it part of his efforts to promote the Syria Accountability Act in 2003?
Was it to enhance his position with the Americans during his exile in France?
Comments?

I don't believe this news one bit even if it's reported by Le Figaro

Part of the propaganda war......

Y3né even if he met with Mossad agents in Paris, so what ?

Syrians themselves are negotiating a peace treaty with Israel...

On a side note, Israel worked hard against GMA and the lebanese government during the 88-90 period, because we accepted the iraki help against the syrian army.

The same le figaro that reported that mehlis already knew that the 4 generals are the one who killed hariri to later on say that mehlis knew sh** but he could not give them an empty casket and had to put a body in it so he implicated the 4 generals.

Is the same journalist who wrote this article the one who wrote the other ones about hariri and mehlis? the one who was held up in Iraq a while ago?

They will do and say anything to break the alliance between GMA and Hizb, anything. This alliance is the nightmare of so many countries and regimes.

Who hasn't?
Those amongst you without a sin cast the first stone.
It's water under the bridge and in all likelihood it was liqua3 ta3arouf. Besides he now met the Syrians and For Aoun's critics I'd repeat what Abou Nawass said to Haroun El Rashid when he was caught drinking wine with a Koran next to him
ودع الزق جانبا ----- -------------- ومع الزق مصحفا
واحسو من ذا ثلاثة----------------- واتلو من ذاك أحرفا
خير هذا بشر ذاك ------------------ فاذا الله قد عفا
I myself met with the Mossad once but they didnt like me because I changed my opinions too much, or so they said.

There are plenty of policy shifts to choose from. From attacking Hizballah one year to kissing Ahmedinejad the next. From saying that the Syrians killed Hariri for sure one year, to blaming islamists (maybe it was Abu Adas all along) the other. I can go on.
The point if GMA had stayed with March 14th he would probably be president right now, instead of figuring out new ways to undermine GMS.

Try to put down the red-bull before answering this time.
