Default LAU Jbeil's Exact results compared to last year's. - 1st December 2008

as I promised a week ago, I'm gonna give you the exact results of this year's LAU JBEIL elections.

below we have 2 tables, If you can't understand it, I'm gonna be writing a little bit more about it.

Social 07/08 In Orange/Yellow
LSF 07/08 in Green
Schools in Grey

Final:

Table one includes names and number of votes of Social and LSF in 2007 and 2008, the average progress of each is the percentage of the additional votes every club took.
In engineering, we took 17.6% more votes than last year, they took 16.1%
In Pharmacy, we took 15% more votes than last year, they took 6.8%
In Arts & Science, we took 42% more votes than last year, they took -1.9%
In Business, we took 19.5% more votes than last year, they took 5.8%

all Schools improvement:
133 votes for social +23.7%
55 votes for LSF +6.7%

All i can say is:

Congratulations SOCIAL for these great results compared to last year!

concerning the difference, you can clearly see it above in table 1... few votes of lazy FPMers could have made LAU orange once again.

Please mods, let this thread be separated from all unis threads in order to answer any question without getting lost with other posts concerning other universities.

Cheers.

But ya Rami, you need to know that history does not mention that "Y" was close to win

History just tells that "X" won

Anyway, ye3tik el 3afieh

This is exactly what the 14 febers did in the Metn by elections:
FPM lost %
We gained %

Bottom line, I don't care, Dr. Khoury has a blue car plate and Amine Gemayel doesn't.

And this is what history is going to mention in the future, an unknown candidate has beaten the former president of republic form Gemayel Family that had 70years history in Metn

Now, what Rami is doing is great, but it will only pay back if he can keep up the progress and win next year elections

thx Rami for the info. I have a different opinion than youchka and fakhreddine.....In order to win , one must start building a momentum, and these numbers show a gr8 improvment at LAU, good job.
I believe that FPM will start building up a momentum right after Aoun returns from Syria.

good work rami. really.

I only have 1 thing to say is that what i've seen from this table is that the only faculty where we didnt really improve is the faculty of engineering. we had 39 more votes while they took 38 more. so it's still close to last year.

anyway i hope you'll still be at LAU next year, and hopefully this time it will be ours.

you're right, that's because most of the engineering students are not from jbeil, more than 70% of engineers come from LAU koreitem transfered. and 70% from LAU Koreitem should ring a bell...

concerning next year, I guess I won't be able to work with my SOCIAL family on campus, because I'm graduating in Summer I or II... but this doesn't mean i'm gonna leave the guys. SOCIAL RUNS IN MY BLOOD. I was one of the founders of SOCIAL LAU in 2005...

KING
i thank you for the results and the details
this shows that our reason to ask for 1960 kaza law is soooooo correct.
as you have explained in many posts earlier, we won the kaza students and lose the national vote.
well for the doubters , 09 election is all aboyr kaza, and that is a great oman for us.
we have achived great results in all universities form lau to ndu, usj and so on.

i am arguing that to put the 14feb dhummes mind at ease, that ya shabab mabrouk 3leinakounn the danniye and tripoli and chouf mps , but the kazas where GENERAL liberated and also where we won in 05, ESMAHOULNNA FIYYA

they will always belong to FPM and ALLIES..

I am not that good in statistics but if u want to do a comparaison about the improvement, dont you need to have the same number of voters in each year?

as long as you're comparing the results of two, i don't think you need it... anyways, like every year, 83% to 87% of the students vote
