There is surely a lot of friendly strategy that still needs time amongst the harmonious opposition that sits comfortably in Syria's lap, and derives its spiritual guidance from the Mullahs of Iran. I wonder if Ahmadinajad and Assad are thinking Sa7, maybe this is what is taking so long!! | well if FPM was naming farkoushein here and there things would have been over with a long time ago, but since we're making full lists everywhere we are running, it takes a bit more time.
so here is what he have to do
full list in jizzine
full list in baabda
full list in metn
full list in kesrwen
full list in beirut 1
full list in zahleh
not to mention jbeil, batroun & koura
your folks on the other hand, have to name one candidate here and there, and leave the list making to their local masters, all they have to worry about is to fight over the limited number of seats they have been granted as a charitable donation.
forming full lists is not a simple business, it takes time to make a harmonious list. | | | | | Registered Member

and even that does not prevent us to make full list all over the country. on the other side, if you care to unmask your eyes a bit and look, you are full of yourselves, you are even drowning in narcissism and you can barely propose 8 or 9 candidates, (of which a few WILL withdraw).
i leave you to do the math ;) | | | | | Orange Room Supporter

we're not all talk, we also walk the walk. but you guys talk big, very big, and then when the time comes, you turn out to be nothing.
bta3rfeha haydi تمخض الجبل فولد فأراً
or unless you think we're discriminating against KSA we can also say تمخض الجمل فولد فأراً
anyway, you guys have been talking so big for the last 4 years, comes election day, you're not running kesrwen, jbeil, jizzine, you have 1.5 candidates in metn, and 0.5 in ashrafieh. well done
things will be much harder for you to recover from if FPM scores another tsunami, it will be the beginning of the end of these parties as you know them my friend. | | | | | Registered Member

Nadim Gemayel : Beirut I
Saadallah Ardo : Baalbek-Hermel
Elie Marouni : Zahle
George Saoud : Akkar
Michel Khoury : Tripoli
Samer Saadeh : Batroun
Tannous Qardahi : Jbeil
Sejaan Kazzi : Kesrouan
Sami Gemayel : Metn
Elie Karami : Metn
Gaby Samaan : Baabda
Fadi al-Habr : Aley
George Abu Zaid : Zahrani Lebanon & World News on tayyar.org | I just feel sorry for one thing though... If these candidates get confirmed by March 14 unified lists, then it would mean that Kataeb (alone) is getting more seats from its Muslim allies than ours! They'll get 3 according to these lists... In Akkar, Tripoli and Aley...
What about FPM? FPM is giving seats in Baabda and Jezzine! Kataeb is giving nothing to FM in any "Christian" qada...
Now I understand all that, but I clearly remember HA promising to give FPM the Christian seats in its territory... And these include the seats in Baalbak-Hermel, Marjayoun and Zahrani... Until now, it seems Baalbak-Hermel and Marjayoun is going to SSNP and/or Berri... What about Zahrani? | | | | | Registered Member

I still believe that the FPM deserves to have non christian candidates in other districts.
The FPM shall present people like Ramzi Kanj in Baabda irrelevant of what Berri thinks.
It should also present other shiite, sunni or druze candidates in other places.
Even if the FPM loses these sits, at least it would make a point like the LFs are doing in Hermel, Baalbeck, Zahrani, etc | | | | | Registered Member

Lol so kataeb also have only 8 candidates?
Gharib when Both kataeb and LF claim to represent the christians, and yet,
In keserwan they barely present 1 kataeb candidate, and in jbeil, baabda and jezzine NONE.

Until now, it seems Baalbak-Hermel and Marjayoun is going to SSNP and/or Berri... What about Zahrani? | I must disagree... First, Kataeb is giving FM seats (ex: Pharaon in Ashrafieh), and FPM is getting seats from its "Muslim allies" (as you call them): Henri Chedid in West Bekaa for example. Add to that Ramzi Kanj, Abbas Hachem and others who are "muslim" FPM'ers and
candidates.
Also bear in mind that unlike Kataeb, FPM and Opposition do not announce candidates officially unless they are sure they will run on the lists. So out of the 13 candidates you posted, I'm sure there's 1 or 2 Kataebist on the list above that will eventually have to withdraw, or at least run solo without being endorsed by March 14 list.
UPDATE: There already has been changes on the list you quoted and the candidates are less now.
Nadim Gemayel: Beirut 1
Saadallah Ardo: Baalback Hermel
Elie Marouni: Zahle
Samer Saadeh: Tripoli [may not be endorsed by Hariri]
Fadi Habr: Aley [he's not even sure to be endorsed by Joumblatt]
Sejaan Azzi: Kesrwan
Elie Karame: Metn
Sami Gemayel: Metn
So we're down to 8, with 2 not being sure yet. | | | | | Registered Member
