As they say, it is one thing to complain about counting the punches and another thing to be the one receiving them. What’s so sad is the fact that the irresponsible expatriates’ votes will be affecting your daily lives. I sincerely believe if the elections were held today without interference from non residents living abroad, the opposition would win the majority just like the polls showed before the elections. I think you should have blocked the Airport road when the mercenaries came on chartered airplanes to sell you off! Unfortunately, there is no escape from a reality which is, the more you suffer during the next four years; the more aggressive you will be next time determining your own fate. | | | | | Registered Member

I will say the truth ... the absolute truth !
" People in Lebanon who benifit from fraud and corruption are much larger than the people who does not benifit "
The majority of the Lebanese people have chosen and whatever happens in the Lebanese political , economical, social and geo-religious scene ... They must accept it !
We blamed the 1975 war, Syrian occupations, genocides , corruption on the Syrians, Palestiniasn, USA, KSA , France , Iran , ... But I can see clearly now, we brought everything to ourself because 1) we are stupid 2) we benifit from what is happening ! | | | | | The Following User Says Thank You to jimy86leb For This Useful Post: | | | Orange Room Supporter

When We were discussing STRATEGIC defeat or victory, we forgot the word strategic and we got into the argument if this election was either or. well brothers, Mr. Abizeid was trying to push some of the narrow minded to look at the larger picture and the further upcoming changes.
So, what i see coming should be very promising, although i am trying to be optimistic, i can not be other than that, otherwise i lose faith in this country.
wishes and hopes: lets put our efforts together to start working on making this elections defeat a strategic victory, remember we only have 4 years and the clock is ticking | | | | | | |
