Too bad some in Lebanon were deceived by the same people who were in charge during the civil war. Except now, they officially have palaces in parts of the country.
Unfortunately, the Lebanese people must endure a lot of pain before they put their priorities in the proper order. And pain is on the way……
You mentioned the Bush/ neo conservative scams and their fear tactics in the US which is a good example about what’s happening in Lebanon. As we recall, Bush was appointed first time and elected the second time but who might have guessed an African American would become the next US president and that soon? What really did it was the economic meltdown. The American voters overcame their artificial fear and disregarded racism and bigotry as soon as reality hit home. I see the same scenario happening in Lebanon when the economic pain caused by runaway inflation becomes intolerable. Too bad, those who already know the truth will be paying the price with the rest.

What I might add, many of those who supported Bush did it because they lived an illusion thinking the guy and his party were good for business. As it turned out, only the billionaires did well while the middle to upper class suffered the most especially those entrepreneurs and business men that didn’t care about War and ethics. I know so many of them now living a nightmare in disbelieve.

Everyone can say whatever he wants, March 14 has won the election. Period
What you are seeing as a victory is related to HA, because as long as HA possessing its heavy armed militia, this defacto will stay. All other excuses and analyses are just for smoothening the electoral defeat

You say "The June 7th opposition defeat, a strategic victory"?!? :) For old time's sake you should have said: "The June 7th opposition defeat, a blessing in disguise for those Christians who can see".

Everyone must admit however that sweeping Kesrwen regardless of margins, and winning Matn are indeed a victory for FPM. The truth must be told.
FPM however lost on many fronts as well in these elections and beyond...

I guess the answer to that is:
To see or not to see!

if someone else was saying this i could swallow it and accept it but coming from those who could not dare run in christian areas and are represented by only five MPs and the whole world knows how they won these 5 seats ya3ni without the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ of your saoudi sponsor you'r inexisting !
it is kind of ridiculous and humiliating for the bragger !
FPM won in jezzin , in jbeil and in all the places they had candidates ,from 21 MPs it got alone after last elections 27 , while you got 5 ....we cant say you scored a major victory as christian partis can we ???? ..... the truth must be told as it is maybe you should have another look at the results seems you missed a lot !

building your electoral campaign on lies and bribery is nothing to be proud of ... but again this is what lebanese are all about: bragging .

She's telling the truth; if you have counter arguments, just state them, if not don't start making poetry.

Don't waste your time man, J-L and those who share his political ideas cannot be engaged in any serious debate because they cannot defend their arguments. All what they do is transmitting noise and repeating similar unfounded stories (Wilayat-el-Faqih, Syria/Iran, blabla), and when you face them with some truth they start to joke
