Joumblatt is the powder maker instead of Aoun !

the white stuff he prepares and keeps smoking is way beyond what any fpmers can attain.

he lead the country and saad to a corner of destruction and he got there he was the first one to abandon ship although he was the captain..

so god help anyone who dealt with him as a friend and enemy.

Kamal Joumblatt once said give the Christian weapon and we do not need to fight, they will kill each other. I guess he new what he was talking about, probaly that's why his son also called them "Jeniss 3atel"

Just as an observation... i havent read the whole thread, but in your first three posts, i read SIX references to "CHRISTIAN", and not one reference to "Lebanese". It is just an observation. We should get to the point where we get out of this sectarian identity.. i wonder when. Why not make reference to the FPM bloc, as a LEBANESE bloc.. why do we have to make it about christians?

These naive people prefered to give Jumblat and Hariri rather than Aoun the power...
These naive Christian were fooled by the LF / Kataeb (who are even more naive) who warned them with the danger of Wyliat el Fakih.

For L'Orient Le Jour or these "I love life" brainless people, it was more secured to give power to "Hariri-Jumblat-Hezbollah" than "Aoun-Hezbollah"...

They stupidly thought that Hariri & Jumblat would save them from the Tchador... while AOun would impose Islamic rule.

Stupidity and Naive people and weak minds are responsible for this mess. M14 Christian parties wanted to destroy Aoun... they reduced FPM to 29 MP only.. but now what are they achieving ?

Was is worth to destroy FPM for.. 1 Minister ? For being treated like dogs ? What does the LF or Kataaeb decide ?
Their hate for AOun was more important than a strong Lebanon.

if Michel Aoun and the others played by this game and i believe they all did lets face it Aoun lost in this game and Jumblat won... so congratulation for Jumblat...

هل من عبرة يأخذها صفير من انقلاب جنبلاط؟

لم يصدق أحد وليد جنبلاط في تبريراته المعلنة لموقفه الانقلابي الأخير. تماماً كما لم يفاجأ أحد من أصحاب العقل السويّ والمنطق السليم بهذا الموقف. فجنبلاط هو جنبلاط، ومن لم يعرفه بعد، فليُعد قراءة رائعة جوزف سماحة الرائع، عن البيك المصاب بعقدة خوف النبوءة المتحققة ذاتياً.
يومها أصيب جنبلاط إصابة مباشرة. أحسَّ كأنه يُعَرّى من كل أقنعته للمرة الأولى في تاريخه أمام الناس، كل الناس. فردَّ بحقد على سماحة الكبير. قال في تصريح صحافي ـــــ وهو يضرب الأرض برجله نقراً وترياً: «لن أنسى ما كتبه سماحة ما حييت، ولن أغفره...». بعد فترة راح يرسل الموفَدين من «القلم الأخضر» لمصالحته والاستغفار والاعتذار. بعد محاولات عدة، قبِل جوزف.
التقيا في حوار من جانب واحد: كان جنبلاط يعتذر بأكثر الكلمات إهانة لنفسه. بلغ حدّ تحقير ذاته، واكتساب نعوت غير بشرية...
هذا هو وليد جنبلاط.
لم يصدقه ربما، إلا البطريرك صفير، في نيسان الماضي، وبعد تسريب شريط خلوته الشهير، وكلامه العنصري في حق الموارنة، أرسل أحد مساعديه إلى بكركي للتورية والتعمية: علاقاتنا مع الصرح تاريخية... باقون على ثوابت ثورة الأرز...
حتى آخر اللازمة المطلوبة. بعدها صعد هو إلى البطريرك والتقى به، وأقنعه بأن «الجنس العاطل» كلام معسول. اقتنع البطريرك، كاد يترك كرسيه كالعادة عند استقباله رؤساء الدول والزعماء الكبار. انفرجت أساريره، وتابع الخط المرسوم له، ضمن مخطط البيك.
ما كان المخطط المذكور؟ ببساطة شديدة، ومنذ هزيمة المشروع الأميركي مع إدارة بوش السابقة، كان جنبلاط قد بدأ يستعد للانقلاب. الهدف واحد: مصلحة جماعته من الدروز. والسبيل واحدة: حفاظه على دوره الأكبر من حجمه وحجمها. ذهب إلى السعودية، فلمس هناك اتجاهات التسوية مع دمشق. جسَّ النبض السوري، فاكتشف استعدادات براغماتية واضحة، إلى زمن حليفه عبد الحليم خدام، الذي أبلغ الوسطاء سنة 1977 أن المصالحة مع كمال جنبلاط باتت مستحيلة، وأن القرار في شأنه اتُّخذ. اليوم صارت سوريا أكثر سلمية وديموقراطية وواقعية.
أدرك البيك أن الفرصة متاحة: أن يركب على تفاهم أميركي ـــــ سعودي ـــــ سوري ممكن، لا بل مقبل. فيستمد السلطة، زائدة المال، زائدة الحماية في آن واحد. وبدأ يعد العدّة لتموضعه الجديد. منذ ذاك الوقت، فهم جنبلاط أن علّة موقعه الجديد، للحفاظ على دوره المنفوخ، هي في أن يكون بيضة القبّان بين السنّة والشيعة. العلاقة مع الحريري جيدة، لا بل متلاصقة. يلزمها إذاً بعض مسافة. فيما العلاقة مع الشيعة سيئة، لا بل مقطوعة. يلزمها ردم وجسر. وبين الاثنين ثمة عقبة أساسية تحول دون الطموح الجنبلاطي الجديد: اسمها ميشال عون.
فجنرال الرابية سبقه إلى «الربط» مع الضاحية وطهران ودمشق، ويتقدم عليه بأن «ربطه» هناك مبدئي، وفائي، أخلاقي. تصعب منافسته بالوصولية والحربائية، ثم إن عون لا يزال يحمل راية كسر الإمارة الجنبلاطية.
ليس من النوع الذي يرضى بمقعد نيابي يُرمى كعظمة. ميشال عون، آخر من يحمل في وجدانه عظمة جماعته، وعظمة لبنانٍ ما.
هكذا اتضحت الصورة لدى البيك. لضمان تموضعه المقبل، لا بدّ من إزاحة منافسه المتقدم ميشال عون، ولإزاحة عون لا بد من إسقاطه مسيحياً في الاستحقاق النيابي المقبل. ولضربه مسيحياً لا بد من مروحة واسعة من قوى التقليد والفخّار القديم والثوار المرتدين، والغيفاريين الذين باتوا يقطنون القصور... ولا بد من بعبدا، وبكركي. نفذ جنبلاط خطته كاملة. بدقة هائلة. حتى بلغ اللحظة. حمل أعباء عدوان وشمعون والهبر. داهن الرئاسة وعكس حبّه التاريخي للعسكر وبزاتهم ونجومهم. وطوق بكركي بإنكشاريته.
هل نجح؟ لا تبدو الصورة كذلك. فالرابية ستنتصب في وجهه ممراً إجبارياً، كيفما اتجه. وإلا فسيكون كمن يخسر الدنيا والآخرة.
لكن يبقى سؤال: ماذا ربح البطريرك؟ سؤال لا جواب له، غير تأكيد جنبلاط نفسه منذ مدة أن «القادة الكبار يستقيلون عندما يخطئون التقدير».ـ
