Default Joumblatt is the power maker instead of Aoun - 30th June 2009

Is the majority really a majority? and is the minority really a minority? Wouldn't where Joumblatt stands be the majority?, i.e. if Jumblatt alies with HA/Amal, wouldn't the majority be with FPM+Hezb+Amal+Joumblatt?

Wasn't this the role that was assumed to be played by FPM, had FPM obtained 35 deputies?

So thank you to all the Christian leaders that prefered to give the power to Joumblatt instead of giving it to FPM and allowing the Christian to regain their role in our country. Thank you Jeajea, Thank You Amine, Thank you Patriarch and Thank you Mr President.

Kamal Joumblatt once said give the Christian weapon and we do not need to fight, they will kill each other. I guess he new what he was talking about, probaly that's why his son also called them "Jeniss 3atel"

No one understands the Maronites better than the Joumblatt clan.

wello is smelling war in the air
an iraq style sunni-shia war
and wants to protect his sect from its reprecussions.

by acting as an intermediary between the warring sects he hopes to keep them away.
expect more of such balancing acts.

meanwhile the jeness al 3atel is busy ganging up on its only safety valve ( GENERAL).....

Go cry me a river. You took a blatant stance that defends everything that Hezbollah does, defends weapons outside the control of the state, glorifies internal incursions, and lined up your politics with the oppressive Iranian regime and the recent Syrian occupier's politics... and the people voted against you.

Well and what would have been your strategy, take weapons and go fight Hezbollah and disarm, them range a war on Syrian and topple the Baath regime? and liberate the oppressed people of Iran and hail the free people of Saudi?

How do you feel today seeing Hariri defending Hezbollah weapon? How would you feel next month when Hariri junior will play the same role as his father did with respect to acknowliging Syrian role in Lebanon?
Who do you think will preserve the right of the Christian and ensure that the marginalization that has happened since 1992 will end?

People didn't vote against us. Residents of Zgharta, Koura, Jbeil, Keserwan, Maten, Baabda, Zahleh and Jezzine gave us a wide and crystal clear advantage while Batroun and Achrafieh were almost 50/50. This is without forgetting the votes of Christians in Akkar, Aley, Chouf and West Bekaa!

However, those like you who were brought from abroad by Hariri thanks to the money of the oppressive KSA regime changed the results by closing the gap in the places where it was big and gave Cheikh Saad a win in places where results were close.

Now enjoy how the guy who brought you from abroad to vote against HA will defend their weapons in the next government's bayen wizareh!
